If you're in Tokyo to take advantage of the delights of Otome Road then you can't beat this hotel for location. Everything in East Ikebukuro is right on your doorstep!
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, although I had a single room which was small even by Tokyo standards - there was literally nowhere I could put my opened suitcase other than on the desk. The reception has lovely polite staff, and the room itself unlocks with a key which you have to leave with them when you go out - somewhat of an anachronism for modern travellers, but the process for getting it back is fairly straightforward.
The only minor complaint I would make is that the housekeeping staff are a tad enthusiastic. I was awoken at 10am one day by knocking despite having put my Do Not Disturb on. But this was a very small blip overall in what was generally a very nice stay.More
