This hotel is very old school type but contains all the modern amenities. It's conveniently located just next to the Ryogoku station and the sumo wrestling stadium. 15 mins to Tokyo station.

Rooms are slightly bigger than others and are moderately priced.

Good to stay if you like less crowded and buzzing area.

I spent 3 nights here , just minutes away from Ryogoku rail station & a short walk away from the Tokyo Edo Museum & the Hokusai museum, both well worth a visit. When you enter your room you will find a portable WiFi device I found this invaluable in negotiating the rail & subway system as well as finding museums & other attractions. You can also call home , all for free. The room was adequate , breakfast OK , lots of places to eat around the area. You could hear train noise from my room but it never really bothered me. Would stay here again.

Just a few minutes away from JR Ryogoku station. Plenty of places to eat at nearby. There are no laundry facilities in-house, but there is a coin-laundry place just 4-5 minutes walk from the hotel. My room was the size of a typical business hotel, but it was clean and did not smell of smoke. Bed was comfortable. The AC was OK. Breakfast buffet has an OK variety of Japanese and Western dishes. Price is good for what is being offered. I will be staying here again the next time I come back to Tokyo.

This Hotel is very (some might say too) conveniently located for the Ryogoku Railway station and is not the place to stay if you want a quiet nights sleep or an early night.

If however you are a fan of Sumo then the Stadium is but a short walk. Personally I would rather suffer a crowded metro train than suffer another night here.

The rooms are at best basic have a bed, sofa, fridge and bathroom but if you want 2 pillows for the bed instead of the strictly adhered to rule of 1 forget it.

Breakfast is adequate without being inspiring but probably normal for a hotel of this standard.

There is no lounge and the lobby is small therefore a quiet read means returning to your room.

On balance you will gather this is not a hotel I would wish to return to.

Room Tip: There isn't one

This hotel isn’t anything amazing but serves the purpose of what we needed very well.

The service was fantastic, the location is perfect as it was close to everything we wanted to see. The breakfast was OK, only suggestion would be to offer something different each day as it becomes very repetitive to be eating the same thing over and over again. But the breakfast was good!

The room we had was very small for the price paid, but like most Japanese hotel rooms they are pretty small. The room had everything we needed and was quiet considering we were so close to one of the train lines!
