I was originally thinking about booking a hotel in more central area of Tokyo, but staying at this hotel ended up being a great decision. Sky Tree view room is worth paying for!! You can see the Sky Tree right there in front of you when you open the window. Morning view and night view were different, and both equally beautiful. There are two different colors of Sky Tree lighting at night, and the color alternate every day. We were also lucky enough to see the fireworks up right next to the Sky Tree.
This hotel is 4 minutes walk from/to the Kinshicho Station, one station away from the Sky Tree station (you can also walk there), two stations away from Asakusa station. Easy access to any Tokyo tourist areas, yet situated in more quiet downtown Tokyo.
Hotel staffers were all very friendly and pleasant. Room was a bit small, but efficient and functional. I had absolutely no complaint.
Across from the hotel, there are two convenience stores, Yayoi-ken where you can eat very cheap (about $5) and delicious Japanese breakfast (or lunch), and many cafes and bakery around and inside of the Kinshicho Station. I will strongly recommend to eat breakfast at a bakery (not cafe) at least once! I will write more about it in the restaurant area.
I will go back to this hotel again if they continue to provide a room with a reasonable price!More
