My wife and I are vegetarian and found it extremely difficult to find Veggie meals in Tokyo, even a simple tomato pasta dish had pork in it. But then we found the Ain Soph Ripple and couldn’t be happier. Excellent selection of vegan meals, primarily burgers, mac and cheese and what not, but lovely meals, nice restaurant and friendly staff. Well worth a visit for any vegetarian visiting the amazing city of Tokyo / Shinjuku .

The place is nice, small but lovely. Staff is friendly and kind. Food is good, especially the burgers. My husband had the soy chicken burger with tartar sauce and cabbage, and it was REALLY tasty! Fries were ok. I had a small quinoa salad, it was good too. Servings are small, so we shared also a vegan burrito: healthy (filled with rice, beans, avocado and some veggies) but nothing to die for.

This place has the best “western” vegan food in Tokyo.
Don’t miss out on the Mac+cheese and the “chicken” burger is really good.

We randomly walked past Ripple in Shinjuku as we were travelling down some back streets to our AirBnB house on our last night in Tokyo. I wish we had found it sooner!! After having traveled far and wide to find vegan restaurants, this was tucked away just down the road. We got the Macaroni Cheese and some chocolate muffins with our leftover JPY - food is very reasonably priced, and delicious! Next time we're in Tokyo we'll definitely stop here.
