We spent our final 4 nights of our trip at Hotel Rose Garden. The hotel is very clean and staff are lovely. Our room was in their second building which is just next door to the main one, it was standard size room for a hotel in Tokyo, quiet and always neat. The subway station is just next door to the hotel which was super convenient, especially on those really hot days when we couldn't be bothered walking to the main Shinjuku station. Hotel was also able to hold our bags after we checked out as we had an evening flight and went out for the day. Plenty of dining options and convenient stores around. Short 3min walk to the hustle and bustle of central Shinjuku.

This hotel is located in Shinjuku area and it’s very near to the train station (less than 10m walk) and just in front of a metro stop (red line to Tokyo station)
Rooms are big enough for Japanese standards, maybe the bathroom is a little bit too small but very well equipped!
Staff is very helpful and everything is clean.
there are many restaurants and caffè in the area.

Hotel Rose is a great hotel from staff to cleanliness. No problem with room, amenities + hairbrush & razor, calming tub soap included, a little smaller than western hotel. Front desk helped us with food allergies & taxiis. We’ll stay there again. Thank you!

Very, very small room, it would be great to have room for bags. An assortment of tea bags and milk in the fridge would be great if you need a cup of tea. The bathroom was a bit smelly and very small with a shower over the bath, so if you have mobility problems be mindful of this. If you are coming from Shinjuku Station, take the West exit. It’s realistically a 15 minute walk if you know where you are going, if not take a taxi to save yourself the stress. Attached restaurant good with a reasonably priced breakfast and dinner was good but expensive. Friendly staff with a special mention to Ryoko Handa who booked a tour to Mt Fuji and accommodation for when we left Tyoko.

Stayed here 6 nights in June 18, good location close to Shinjuku station and heaps of restaurants. Rooms are small as are beds but are clean and tidy. Breakfast is good with western and Japanese food but dinner menu is minimal and expensive, and the beer wasn’t that great which is unusual for Japan. Most beer in Japan is good might have been the pouring.
6 nights was a couple too long in that bed. That is the only real complaint.
Lots of shopping near by but all high end, no tourist shopping at all, this seems to be consistent throughout Tokyo. Best place is at the big Buddhist temple near Ginka
