The hotel is 2 minutes to walk from EAST exit of Shinjuku station (perfect). If necessary you can also walk everything underground from Shinjuku station to the hotel.
The rooms in the hotel have a good size, are modern and new and very clean. I would prefer to have a cupboard or some drawers in the room, so that you can store your clothes better tha in your suitcase.
For such modern rooms I missed a WiFi connection in the rooms, WiFi is only available at the reception level (not very convenient).
Around the hotel there are many places to see, eat and for going out.

This hotel is perfectly located - it takes you just 5 minutes to get to the Shinjuku Station from where you can go to most places in Tokyo as many subway and JR railway lines pass it. The hotel is at the edge of the "red light" and gambling district Kabuchiko which is "alive" 24 hours and so it may get a bit louder at the hotel. Anyway, you are in Tokyo and not a rural town... The surroundings of the hotel is safe and it is no problem to walk there at night. There is a shopping mall in the same building.
The rooms are small but clean and modern. The staff are very helpful and friendly though they struggle with English... If it is your first time in Tokyo, don´t hesitate and book this hotel - it is good value for money - could be compared to a better IBIS in Europe....

Room Tip: When you come from Shinjuku station /which is a maze/, look for the exit "east" and the Seibu line - this line starts next to the hotel.

Originally booked the hotel based on price, and I am very happy I did. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They assisted me numerous times with directions and suggestions, for example, what train lines I needed to take to visit various historical sites within and outside Tokyo. In addition, they quickly replaced the safe (it broke during my stay) in my room, within the hour. The hotel is very centrally located. There are numerous bars and restautants in the surrounding area (which reminded me a bit of Times Square). The hotel is next to the Shinjuku Station (I took the Narita Express to the station) which made travelling within Tokyo and the neighboring areas easier. The room was small though and there is no wifi,

Room Tip: The higher the floor the better, several times I was able to hear the traffic outside the hotel

We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay in Shinjuku. The hotel is awsome: very clean, very close to Shinjuku station East exit. It has a 7 eleven across the street and a mc Donald's. There are also some great restaurants in Shinjuku ( an amazing Thai restaurant 4 min away from the hotel).

Even though breakfast was not included, still the hotel was a very good value for money. The view from our room was superb, they have vending machines on every floor. Room service was very good as well.

Note for those who have celiac disease or are gluten intolerant: there is a cafe in Shinjuku called Bore cafe and their cheese cake is gluten free. Also L'Occitane cafe in Shibuya has the creme brulle GF :)

Great location, great value for money and great views over the city. If you're staying in Tokyo and you don't need access to the Internet it's ideal, however, if like me you want to check info on sights, routes and email home while travelling you might be best looking elsewhere. This may sound petty, but for such a good quality hotel not to have wifi in each room or at least the lobby of each floor is a joke. This is illustrated when you visit the main lobby of the hotel to find half the guests trying to access the only router available (which is terrible to boot). Hope this helps
