I should not have written my usual favorable comments to avoid attracting more people to come and making reservation difficult for this restaurant. But I dared to do so to let other lovers of good dining share the pleasure of discovering another excellent venue. Good atmosphere, clean setup, good meals and services, and above of all, reasonable prices are the key words. A chef who has gained valuable experiences at Kane Tanaka (one of the most reputed Japanese restaurants in Tokyo or Japan) operates the restaurant with an assistant.
They serve only 2 sets of menu at either Yen 4,200 or Yen 5,700. All the dishes are served rather in a small portion, probably a bit insufficient for young people. The difference is serving larger portion of “Sashimi” and an additional (clear) soup in case of the higher price. All foods tasted quite delicately good but a bowl of specially cooked rice was so excellent that I had second helping which I usually never do. Their selection of “Sake” seemed quite good. The one I had named “Kokuryu” from Fukui prefecture was superb. No wine is available but wine brought is accepted at corking charge of Yen 1,500.
I with my wife should certainly go there again possibly once every month as they change menu on a monthly basis.
