this is an amazing hotel I highly recommend it to all visitors to tokyo. we got a great deal through trip advisor and travelocity we paid almost half than the usual rate. the hotel is superb. they were wonderful in customer service and extremely accomodating. Tokyo is a spotlessly clean city and the same is of the hotel. usually i'm a bit nervous about restrooms in hotels but here it was so clean you could eat off of the floor. the free ammenities in the bathroom were great also. we took the advice from the past reviewer of not eating in the hotel cause it could drain your wallet fast so we walked around and found cheap eats all over. we especially love the lunch specials. and about the getting around the hotel, sure the first day it was allittle annoying because of construction but after that we found the above ground walkway which connects you to the subway and jr train it's was so simple. the hotel is located in ginza which we come to find out from other english speaking tokyo-ites that it's where stuffy salary men and snobs of tokyo live. but we didn't mind since the hotel was so great. we took the jr all over. easy easy. then again we are from brooklyn so we don't mind train rides and transfering. once again dont hessitate to book at the park hotel tokyo.

This is a gem! When we first stepped in we couldn't believe that we could afford such beauty, functionality and nature all combined together. If you like architecture you will love the lobby from where you can see Tokyo from the 25th floor and have drinks while listening to Jazz music most of the nights. It was excellent! Our room felt like home with all the modern amenities and great views of the city. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant although I believe we were the only backpackers in the hotel. What amazed me was the art gallery in the lobby. There are amazing art items all around and a huge tree on the wall which matches wonderfully with the two live olive trees in the lobby . I would recommend it to all! This is the best hotel we have ever stayed.

The Park Hotel Tokyo was an excellent hotel that was suprisingly affordable.

The Park Hotel Tokyo is a newer hotel that occupies the top floors of a building in the recently build Shidome complex which is located just below the popular Ginza neighbourhood in Tokyo.

The hotel is directly connected to the Shidome Subway stop which is on the Toei Oedo Line which my girlfriend and I found was an excellent starting point to go to the various neighbourhoods in Tokyo. Most sights are a maximum of one transfer away. A little further walk can get you to the Shimbashi Station and another metro line that is useful for taking you to other areas of Tokyo directly.

The hotel is very modern in design and had a truly boutique feel about it. The view from the hotel lobby on the 25th floor is stunning and features an excellent view of the Tokyo Tower and Mt. Fuji. The check-in process is effortless and the staff is very accommodating and always provided quick and useful advice on issues ranging from restaraunt suggests to directions to timetable information for the Narita Express trains.

The rooms are an adequate size and well furnished with a flat screen TV, a mini bar and an in room safe. The entire hotel is spotlessly celan. The bathroom is effecient and supplied with nice amenities such as toothbrushes, razors and soaps and shampoo.

We ate in the asian themed restaraunt and it was good but quite expensive, especially when compared to the countless local restaraunts that are scattered through many of Tokyo's neighbourhoods.

There is a convenience store in the basement of the building on the way to the subway that is open 24 hours. There is also a Starbuck's coffee shop and a variety of restaraunts in the basement of the building which looked good but we didn't have a chance to eat there. It looks like their hours are mostly oriented towards catering to the office workers lunches and dinners.

As for booking, I found that the best rate was avaiable through Tablet Hotels but there was a service fee added to our bill which could have made it on par with booking directly through the hotel's website (to be honest I didn't look into whether it would be added by hotel as well). Regardless, my average rate was $200 Canadian which I think is reasonable for the quality of the hotel in Tokyo.

I would stongly recommend this hotel to people looking for a stylish hotel in Tokyo at a resonable price. It is particularly attractive if you are unintimidated by using the subway which is, in my opinion, the best way to get around and to see Tokyo. Those used to the London or New York subways will have no trouble using the Tokyo transit system. In fact, it is the best marked system I have ever experienced. This is particularly true when paired with the Tokyo Handy Guide that the concierge (the woman that works there is excellent) gave us.

I would definitely stay again at the Park Hotel Tokyo when I return to further explore the amazing city of Tokyo.

Based on the excellent previous Tripadvisor reviews, I spent 2 nights in the Park Hotel in Tokyo. The hotel experience has even exceeded our expectations. The hotel is very modern and conveniently located near various subway stations and the Ginza shopping district. The staff is not only friendly but highly knowledgeable and professional. Two advices:
1. If you are staying during winter-time, request an air-humidifier as the air in Tokyo is extremely dry.
2. Try to ask for a room on one of the higher floors with a view on the Tokyo tower.

The Park Hotel is a really good value hotel and the service you receive is impeccable!

The lobby area is stunning with amazing views over Tokyo to the tower and the bridge! Rooms are also well-equipped and comfortable.

We ate in both of the restaurants too, both of which are really good - but there are far better restaurants in Tokyo so ask the concierge to recommend some. Restaurant called "Ukai-tei" highly recommended for the most amazing Japanese steak/teppanyaki!

Finally, location is pretty good too. It's a short walk into the Ginza shopping district with loads of fabulous shops, bars and restaurants. Subway directly next to hotel too.

Highly Recommended!
