The Bride and I went all in on the Kobe beef with Abalone option. Everything was simply delicious and prepared right before our eyes, teppanyaki style. The beef literally melted in my mouth and the abalone was superb. Probably our most expensive meal ever, we recommend the lunchtime option if possible, as it is more budget conscious. However, tha being said, the quality and quantity of the offering certainly justified the price. Once in a lifetime for this guy!

Beating a jetlag is not always easy but dining here made a lot more bearable. Excellent mix between traditional and modern. Superb selection of meat and fish prepared right there and then in front of you. I have done tepanyaki many times but this one ranks high. The chefs skills and precision in peparing top food in almost artisan style, topped of with Tokyos skyline made the price worth it.

We stayed at ANA Intercontinental hotel and the restaurant is located at 36th floor. Wagyu and Kobe beef are excellent although the price is not cheap. Taste is good and service is normal.

My wife and I ate there and spent about 60K Yen. I had dinner two days prior at Teppanyaki Onodera in Ginza and wanted to compare the two, particularly since Teppanyaki Akasaka is apparently one of the top rated teppanyaki restaurants in Tokyo.

While I thought the food and service were both very good, Onodera is better (with a slightly cheaper all in price).

At that price point, I'd expect everything to be EXCEPTIONAL. I thought the experience was GOOD, but it wasn't mind blowing.
