Stayed here for just the one night before heading to Kyoto. While it seemed a longish walk from Tokyo station, however, this is due to the fact that we had completed a 10 hour flight and were dragging our suitcases. The hotel itself is well located, has a very efficient front desk and useful utilities. The room is small but well equipped. The breakfast is quite good and there are options for vegetarians. Would recommend this hotel for a longer stay than ours.

This property has seen some age, but the bathroom is refurbished and room is slightly bigger than the competitions. Capable front desk with complementary breakfast. The supplies are at first floor and the guests have to pick them on their own. Lobby is located underground which is kind of strange and you have to take an elevator to the first floor to get out. Somewhat unusual.

Okay, it is not the Palace Hotel, that's why I put it back from 1 to 3 Stars in my rating but even at that price, almost 100 us one should get more. The rooms are ridiculously small. Even the double for single use ...Help !!!!! Not more than 3x4 m maybe 140 sqft.
More than one in a room like this? OMG. Can one develop claustrophobia? Well try it. My closet is literally bigger, not making this up. Okay let's live in it for a day. I loved the shaking bed due to seismic turbulences. Got me worried. Well it survived so the construction is good. Waterheater and Green Tea only, really not one shabby coffee?
I know everyone loves green tea. Well I don't.
The room was pretty quiet ,as unbelievable as it may seem.
TV....not one channel in any other language than japanese. No political correctness BS here :). We should learn from it back home.
Wifi not at all consistent, so not suitable for the discerning but extremely cheap businessman lol. If you are claustrophobic avoid at any cost.
The cleaning staff among the best I saw. Efficient and quiet. Good'
Reception staff nice but only when you speak Japanese a communication is possible.
Not their fault.
Breakfast and elevators: a drama. Like a college cafeteria. And again all the guys from college you would never have wanted to be seen with mingling..haha
Crowded all the time, food varies but at 9 it is not replenished anymore. Waking up at 7 just to get some tasteless salad and full carb baddd so badddd croissants sucks. There are wonderful bakeries in Japan...unfortunately this hotel does not know of them. So stay in bed, don't be cheap and have some decent food later in a restaurant.
The soup I tried btw was excellent, so the attitude of the employees.
Do not touch the scrambled eggs ! Truly disgusting.
The sophisticated "quality tourists" like backpackers and college dropouts (being mean) make this hotel such a pleasure to run away. By the way guys, there is a shower, bathtub and soap in the rooms, how about using it.
Will I come back ? Do you need to ask ? I will pay 100 more still this week and get a nicer entourage.
Not the hotel's fault I was cheap ...but here my "pickyness" won .
If you want to try it take Metroline Ginzaline to Mitsukoshi Mae, exit A4,(elevator) cross the street, one more than the bridge then after the Hammond Store to the right. Around 300 m.
Not a drama.

Hotel situated in great location close to metro stations. Room was very small but expected in Japan. Plenty of hot water and the room was very, very clean. The breakfast consisted mostly of a typical Japanese breakfast but did have cereal and toast for Westerners. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very eco friendly. While providing the very basic amenities for the room, they let you take what you need for the room amenities from the lobby, things provided include brush, bath towel scrub, bath salt (various flavors to choose), shiseido facial products in small packaging etc.

Breakfast is provided, basic but enough. Housekeeping does a good job and friendly reception.

Location is ok.

Only complaint is the very small room which is tight for 2, not enough space to open two big luggages but the queen size bed is nice.
