Very tasty kobe beef. its a so called Yakiniku restaurant where you bbq the meat yourself to your liking. Go to this place if you want to eat Kobe beef and your close to Ginza.

This restaurant in Ginza serves dry aged kobe beef for barbecue purpose. The staff speaks fluent english and the setting is quite western style. The beef is very tender without the oil effect that is usually found in kobe beef. It is worth a try if you are a dry aged lover.

It was 9800Yen for 240g of the set of different types of Kobi steak. We ordered some more and ended up with a bill of 23k or so. In summary it was expensive and average. Disappointing overall.

Heijoen serves both premium Wagyu and Kobe beef in Yakiniku style (barbecue it yourself in your own table).
We ordered both Kobe beef set each (comes with rice, salad and soup and 3 slices of Kobe beef) plus one extra serving of miscellaneous Kobe beef for share.
The beef really melt in your mouth, definitely one of the best! Rice, salad and soup are good too....
I would recommend to order just set kobe beef as this will turn out cheaper rather than extra kobe beef. Order the large set to ensure you'll get enough Kobe beef to satisfy your appetite, as you definitely will want more if you order the small set size.
Pricing is not cheap, but definitely worth it for premium kobe beef at this quality. It is actually a lot cheaper compared to other premium kobe beef restaurant.

Heijouen doesnt appear in any of the "top Kobe/Wagyu Restaurants" online and we only chanced upon it after being refused service by its "top rated" neighbor.

We didnt have high expectations, but we were hungry, so we decided to give it a go.

We ordered a "set" (thinly sliced beef from different cuts) and a "block" (huge slab of well marbled sirloin).

The meat was served raw, and we had to cook it on a charcoal bbq.

The beef tasted VERY RICH.

It was like eating beef, foie gras and bacon all at once.

I have never had a better steak in my life!!!!!
And its not even close.

We also tried another "highly rated and Popular" Kobe beef restaurant suggested by the Hotel, and it wasn't even close in terms of "flavor". The highest rated "Kobe" restaurant in Osaka doesnt even come close.

Probably the secret to Heijouen's flavor-packed kobe beef is that its dry-aged.
I also noticed some "white specks" on the beef that looked like fine salt or it could've been UMAMi.

All the Wagyu weve had in Japan melts like butter.

But Heijouen's stood out the most.
