I stayed here as part of a tour and so had a roommate. The rooms were typical American hotel style.
The room was small but not uncomfortable. The hotel provided slippers . The bathroom is very small by US standards with barely enough room to dry off after a shower. The water was hot plus there was a full-service toilet including heated seat. The room was clean. The view is just of the street and nearby buildings.
This hotel is tucked away in Tokyo by a river. You can safely walk, even at night (I did, with my camera). The lobby staff only appears to speak Japanese but I could get most ideas across in my (poor) Japanese. They were very helpful and friendly. One day, they held my camera in the back behind the front desk since the hotel rooms didn't have safes.
The included breakfast was good but not great. There was a nice mix of American breakfast fare (eggs, sausages, fruit) as well as Japanese (rice, miso, soy beans and a mix of pickled vegetables). You could be boring or adventurous and still leave full.
Overall, this hotel has some good points and not-great points but it was a good place to stay.More
