The good: Well located for the TCAT & Narita bus connections, directly linked to the Tokyo Metro, free wi-fi, and friendly, English-speaking staff.

The bad: Non-smoking rooms were not available when I checked in, until I told the front desk staff I would cancel my reservation & stay elsewhere and one became available. The rooms are old & tired. You get a huge key to carry around! The Executive Upgrade (Y8000) gets access to a nice view from the 20th floor, but a mediocre breakfast.

There are far better hotels in the Tokyo area in this price range.

If you wondered where the 80's went, you'll find them here! Overall, the hotel is very nice, with a friendly, helpful staff, and moderately convenient location with direct subway access from the basement, but the rooms could definitely use an update. The tile, fixtures, furniture, etc. just seem old. However, free wifi, a great club level lounge with American style breakfast, and afternoon cocktails daily are great. It is definitely worth the extra cost of the club level.

Room tip: Club level rooms are the best

Loved this hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is well positioned with easy access to the subway and airports! As stated on other reviews the rooms are a little dated but they are clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a hotel that is well connected but not right in the centre of Tokyo this is ideal. there are loads of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance which are a lot cheaper than shibuya etc.

Having read other reviews; outdated rooms, having a big key instead of a key card, the staff not very nice??? my expectations where a little tuned downwards.

But arriving at the hotel my expectation where met, to say the least. Friendly staff really trying to make you feel like a valued guest. Sure they key is on the heavy side, but how cool is it to get a key nowadays :), the room could be seen as old fashioned, but is the right size, the bed is great. The breakfast on the 20th floor has a really nice view.

The bus terminal and metro station is next door and other metro stations near. Also a lot of nice restaurants in the vicinity.

Typing this on my second day in, looking forward to the other 10 days.

Very good hotel, well located. Close to many restaurants and nightlife. Maybe a little too big which makes it a little impersonal. Continental breakfast could be improved. But over all, it was a good stay.
