If you want to taste the real Kobe beef, this is the place to visit. They have only 1 dish - Kobe beef - so you can imagine how well they do it. Traditional Japanese where you take your shoes off and live the whole experience. Expensive but worth it.

Went with my daughters for lunch. We got there around 13:00 and many of the menu items were sold out. Food is good but service was unfriendly... Very unfortunate considering the quality of food.

We decided to have dinner courses: The Kobe filet and the Kobe sirloin. After a amuse gueule of marinated beef we got a slice of very fine short fried beef with rice and wasabi (beef sushi) as a starter. Next was a really tasty shrimp cocktail with cucumber and seagrass. The main dish was Kobe filet and Kobe sirloin served on sizzling hot pans with various condiments, rice, miso soup and a side salad. The meat (medium cooked) was incredibly tender and tasted just wonderful. Dessert was a slice of melon and coffee.

We had draft Asahi beer for drinks, which was just fine with the food. We didn't want to risk spoiling the meal by choosing the wrong wine so this nice brew was the right choice.

Service was very friendly and efficient. All courses arrived shortly one after each other but there was no unnecessary hurry. We didn't have a reservation on a Thursday night but it was not a problem. Staff speaks sufficient to rather good English and will accept reservations by phone. Also, you can chose from an English menu.

All in all a very gratifying dining experience and certainly worth the expenditure of appx. 130 Euros per person.

Nice staff and good service but ALL the customers were non-Japanese and although the meat was good it was outrageously expensive for very small quantities (100g of non-Kobe fillet is close to 70,000 yen or 70$). Go elsewhere, there are so many better places

Good overpriced meat. You will be the eating without any Japanese person in a tourist hangout. Better choices abound...
