Went to Tokyo for a night transit to Hakuba. Typical Japanese style hotel. Limited English speaking reception but friendly staff. Hotel room is small and clean. If you open your luggage won't have space to walk. Welcome to Tokyo! Better than sleeping in a capsule.

Located in Nishi shinjuku station. Please don't be confused as shinjuku station. I made a mistake went to Shinjuku JR station. As a foreigner there were numerous exits in Shinjuku JR station. If you are not familiar with Japanese will have issues finding the changing station and right exit. Eventually get a taxi there around ¥1000.

If you are looking for a hotel sleep and go this may be your choice.

The eco room size was teeny-tiny, serves us right for trying to save a buck. It was way too small for two.
We liked most everything else, particularly the breakfast. The espresso maker started the day off right.
Staff was great as well, they stored our luggage before and after check in while we did sightseeing.
More in a business district than in a fun area for nightlife, but a 7-11 and a Family Mart right around the corner and some decent little bars and restaurants. We sorta liked being in a quieter area- easy to find your way around. Ningyocho station is five or six minutes away, you can get anywhere from there.
Tip: if you have luggage, the A6 exit in Ningyocho station has an elevator. The A5 is easier to find the hotel, just turn right and walk a couple blocks.

I stayed with my daughter for three nights to visit some friends in Tokyo, arriving from Haneda Airport by taking one train all the way. On the way home, we took a train from the same nearby Ningyocho Station (entrance/exit 6 leads to an elevator) to fly from Narita Airport. For going downtown, it was quite easy as well.
The area is a traditional 'everyday place' full of small stores and restaurants. Shibuya and Roppongi are fun, but restlessness. I really liked strolling around the quieter hotel area and went to several great and reasonable restaurants suggested by hotel staff.
Breakfast was included in the plan. The dining room had a couple of coffee machines which ground fresh coffee. Though the steamer was not in use, I added milk, not packaged creamers, and enjoyed quite satisfying coffee. Croissants and pains aux raisins (danish) were very fresh. My daughter preferred Japanese breakfast and ate a healthy amount of 'Chikuzenni' - a cooked dish with konnyaku ( 0 calorie potato product), gobo (burdock), carrots and chicken - and rice balls of salmon or tuna, Inari sushi etc.

If you are not particularly big physically nor have much luggage, this practical business hotel is for you.

Conveniently located near A5 exit of Ningyocho metro station (3 min walk to hotel).

Room is cosy and clean with bath amentities provided (toothbrush and towels). Other amentities like bath sponge, comb can be obtained near the lift lobby.

Breakfast is complimentary and quality is ok, if you do not mind the same variety of food.

Wifi connection is poor. We had to go to lobby level to access internet.

Air conditioning was poor, not sure if they increased the temperature in lieu of the cool weather. Hardly felt any cold air, so we opened the window since weather is cool outside in Oct.

Recommended for its cleanliness and location.

Nice hotel in a very good location - 3 minutes from the nearest metro station, 20 minutes from Tokyo station. The rooms are small but I've seen much smaller in Japan. Amenities are as standard in any Japanese business hotel - laundry, vending machines, etc.
Staff is very friendly and helped to arrange everything that required knowledge of the Japanese language.
Breakfast was included in the price, and although the choice was pretty good (both local and western options) it does get a bit one sided after a while.
