I was working for the week in the area and found the hotel a great refuge for the night. The staff was VERY friendly and provided excellent restaurant recommendations, and directed me to the nearest grocery store for basic provisions.
The restaurant wasn't open for dinner but provided a wonderful breakfast. Because they have full service restaurant equipment, we had fresh-from-the-oven croissants each morning - nothing better!
The room itself was very charming and impeccably clean. It's not exactly a business hotel but I managed to find space in front of the TV to open up my laptop and work. When I needed to collaborate in the evening with my co-worker, we went down to the restaurant, opened our laptops as well as a bottle of wine, and went to it.
The only negative I can think of is the parking spaces in the back of the hotel. The support beams that hold up the carport roof are directly in the way of the driver and passenger side door. As a result, most guests take up part of the parking space directly next to them. It's simply a design oversight but be prepared to park in front by the entrance or go on a diet so that you can squeeze into your car.
All in all, I can't recommend Hotel Purlilium enough.More
