Very interesting afternoon spent in the museum, lots to see and do and loved getting to go inside the planes. Loved climbing inside the Vulcan, and learning lots about it. Helpful and enthusiastic staff, full of information.

This museum was a fascinating insight for the children and us into the history of the planes and rockets in Britain. Being able to enter the planes was the highlight of the experience. The guides were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and shared some amazing stories. This was an experience we won't forget for a long time and one we were itching to write home about!

We put the postcode into the sat nav which took us to some road closed sections near the museum but we got there eventually. Lots to see inside the museum and very informative. A little annoying that having picked up goods to the value of around £25 in the gift shop, the Scottish lady wouldn't serve us while people wanted to pay to come in the museum - I thought we'd turned invisible. Plane exhibits outside to look round but could do with some signs to tell you how to get to the Vulcan which we stood outside but couldn't go up into as there were too many people in a large group in front of us. That was disappointing for our 9 year old and we didn't want to hang around as it was blowing a gale.
