Stayed here for one night. The food is amongst the worst we've ever tasted. Fish and chips - inedible. Both dinners returned and no question asked as to why. When we complained about our burned breakfast we were told by the recepionist that this was how she liked it! Surpriningly, the picture I took (below) has no resemblance to the advertised breakfast picture at the hotel entrance. I asked if we could speak with the duty manager and was told that she was the duty manager. When I paid our bill we were told the 'boss' would call me that afternoon. That was 5 days ago and still nothing - hence the review.

The Haven Hotel never disappoints. A perfect location with incredible views overlooking the Harbour and Hook Head Lighthouse. The owner Paul is always approachable, friendly and engaging, as are all the staff, a special shout out to David and Anna who welcomed us whole heartedly. Very comfortable beds and pillows, spotless rooms, ample parking. There's a huge rolling lawn that the kids love, the ceaser salad is the nicest one I've had. I've booked it again, I can't wait to return.

The haven hotel in dunmore east is a very relaxing and pleasant stay. The views are outstandingly beautiful and the stand are very friendly to deal with. The coastal areas around and the beaches are very relaxing and peaceful the locals are also very pleasant. I would highly recommend a visit to dunmore east. The local bay cafe has fantastic lunches at very reasonable prices.
