A lovely place with great view. Very frendly owners and nice and clean appartment, garden and poolarea. Buy the way: no mosquitos
My husband, two year-old son and I stayed here for a week. The apartment (in a building with three other holiday rental apartments and a spa!) sits in a medieval village near the top of a mountain at the head of a valley, looking down on olive groves, vineyards and forested land. It is perfectly situated for beautiful sunsets. It is next to the highest peak in the Apuan Alps, which became snow-capped during our stay. The apartment had two roomy bedrooms and a full kitchen (plus very clean bathroom and comfortable living room), which was what we were looking for as self-catering helps with a toddler! Our hosts worked very hard to make sure we were comfortable; their daughter operates the spa and we had wonderfully relaxing massages during our stay. While the hosts don't speak English, their daughter does and is very available to help with any needs. There are washing machines on site, patios, balconies and bbq facilities, and for warmer weather, there is a nice pool and playground. My son loved strolling the village and visiting the chickens, donkey, cows and sheep. The residents were very friendly, as is typical of this region in Italy, and like most Italians, are especially charmed by children. Overall, a great stay!
