Not the latest chick, but very clean, comfortable. It is nice to be in the middle of this nice town. Lots of charming stores in walking distance. Not far from Munich, just 20 min. South fo Starnberger Lake.
Excellent breakfast!

Staff very friendly, breakfast and restaurant/ beer garden food well worth it. General feeling was very positive about the hotel. Rooms are small and feel a little like fancy student accommodation, but if you're just staying for an overnight trip then this really isn't a problem (depending on your expectations!). Good value for money.

This hotel was average at best. The rooms are very old. The shades in the room where not big enough to cover the Windows, so I had to let the blinds down, however since there is no air conditioning my room was like a sauna. The wifi logs you out like every half hour which is very annoying. The breakfast was horrible, just a couple pieces of cheese and salami. It is worth staying anywhere but here and driving into penzberg.

We stayed here for a night while visiting a nearby company. We checked in quite late but the staff was still there and very friendly. We still managed to grab a beer in the on-site restaurant/bar even-though they were past closing time. WiFi service was good, breakfast was delicious and offered a lot of choice. Rooms were clean and well furnished, but the bed was a bit on the short side. Additionally I was worried I might kick over the TV which was very close near the end of the bed. Luckily it wasn't bolted down so I was able to move it back a bit. Shower was also a bit on the small side, but not a large issue. Would go there again.

Excellent competent staff. They were wonderfully helpful in accommodating my 1:00 AM arrival!

Location is central to businesses in city center; 5 minutes from Roche business offices if planning to go there. Otherwise, a good location between Munich-Garmich, or Fussen for holiday visits. Lovely forested area with several lakes within 20 minute drive.

Only complaints: Not to whine, but...the rooms do NOT have air conditioning, so late Summer stays can be pretty hot and miserable unless one keeps the (unscreened) windows open which attracts bugs at night. Nearby church bell will begin ringing at 7AM so hopefully you're an early riser.

Building is modern, clean and very pleasant. Apartment studios have kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, sink and utensils. Very nice continental style breakfast available as well.

Wonderful duvets on very comfy beds. Overall a great place to stay, with a good central location for a reasonable price. I plan to stay there again when in town for work.

Room Tip: Apartment rooms were spacious even with 3 beds. Very quiet, so evidently well insulated between adjacent rooms.
