“Great last night meal”

Le Bistrot De La Pastiere
Restaurant details

We stayed in Chateauneuf De Gadagne for 4 days to attend a family wedding and as there was little choice of restaurants within teh village, we chose this as our last night meal venue with another family member and were surprisingly pleased by our experience. We had booked early evening on a Sunday and were shown to a great table on teh outside terrace with wonderful views out over teh village and towards Avignon. Service was efficient and friendly, teh menu offered a great variety from a la carte meat and fish dishes as well as pizza specials. We chose the a la carte. Wine was reasonably priced and can recommend their local Rose. All the food was beautifully presented and tasted very good. I would not hesitate to return to Le Bistrot De La Pastiere if we are ever in teh area again. thank you for a lovely last night in CdG.

Food is really good, both the grilled meat and the pizza. But if you are really hungry take a menu ... Just 4 ribs is not really a full meal. Even if they are good.

And do not accept the fact that a Belgian Beer in a 25cl glass is a half a liter (pint) of beer you should pay 8€ for. I feel cheated.

We had a lovely meal here. The staff were very accommodating in finding us a space in the restaurant when in fact there were no free tables, but they organised one for us. The service was amazing. The atmosphere is very relaxed. From the terrace you can see the old part of the village and with the lights of the restaurant it's a beautiful place to sit and eat dinner. We all had pizza and all agreed that the food was excellent. A perfect location for a family meal or a romantic evening.

service was not very friendly especially when you ask questions about their menu. the starters (pulpo) was dry and tasteless. The mains (fish of the day and picanha) were very good. crème brûlle and cafe gourmet were okay but nothing special. rather pricy for the region and low quality to price ratio
