We visited Cherasco following the nice suggestion of a friend, but we had no idea where to eat. We love to explore restaurant "by chance". We walked through the streets reading outdoor menus. We don't eat meat so we choose the place that had more choices: Vittorio Veneto. Great choice, we loved everything there.
Staff is super friendly but at the same time really professional and focused on you.
Food is just amazing: we had Purple potato gnocchi with Blue of Morozzo (cheese) and Paccheri (flat large pasta) with squid, shellfish bisque, and bread sauce. The dessert was amazing too: Bavarian cream with Cuneo marroni (chestnuts) and persimmon sauce and Panna cotta with Baci del Vittorio (traditional biscuits). The wine was really good too. I don't like Tartufo but the couple sitting next to us ordered risotto with white Tartufo and the smell was incredible (normally I don't like it because it's too strong. Well really fresh Tartufo is not easy to find). We definitely, reccommend it. Price was 48 euros, really good for a great lunch.
