Great food! And portion sizes. Great view of the lake. A colleague and myself stopped in for a bite to eat and we were not disappointed! Highly recommend to all! Our waitress was very accommodating and the restaurant was clean and the bathroom facilities were very clean. It was a Tuesday evening and there were many people enjoying themselves having a great meal.

Listen, when you are traveling anywhere with a baby, it's a little bit more of a hassle. This place went above and beyond to help us out. We need a room with a fridge to keep her food cold? No problem. We need to use the microwave in the kitchen to sterilize the baby bottles? Not an issue.

The room itself was amazing for our baby to crawl around in. Very clean, some carpets for her to hang out on, a fantastic view of the lake.

The staff was amazing during the entire weekend surrounding a wedding for my friend. If we needed something, it was there for us.

The only word of caution would be that if your child needs complete darkness to sleep, I'm not sure how that would work in the room we were in as there were no blackout blinds. Our baby doesn't mind too much so we never brought it up. But I'm sure if you would bring it up with the staff, they would have a solution for you. This place is aces.

Room Tip: We enjoyed Room #3. Great balcony overlooking the grounds and a great view of the lake.

Spent two nights on our travel to Algonquin park. Easy to find. The room was clean, comfortable, beautiful view of the lake. The bathroom could be a little bigger. The staff is very helpful and pleasant to talk to. We have arrived late and I actually got a welcome note on the door, loved it!

This place is just fantastic for a ladies' getaway weekend! It has become a twice-yearly tradition, booking the cottage, spending the day in the spa (heavenly, looking out over the lake while having a pedi), gourmet dinner, sleeping in and then a relaxed brunch that next morning. A much-needed rejuvenation for a group of mums!
The cottage is fully equipped if you want to prepare your own food (we usually just stop at the LCBO and grocery store for snacks in Eganville, enroute from Ottawa) and has a big living room with fireplace for hanging out in the evening. The hosts are friendly, and you feel as though you're a welcome guest in their home.
The resort is very small and intimate, and you need to know that it doesn't have the amenities of a big chain hotel (like a pool, hot tub or gym) but with the beach & the view of the lake, the atmosphere is what you'll remember (and come back for).
I have recommended this place to a number of friends, you won't be disappointed!
We'll be back in May and can't wait!
