Imagine a place where you can bring the kids, but not drown in their noise; where the glasses are kept full, the food is cooked to order, you can watch the game you WANT to watch (or not) - and actually HEAR IT; the seating is quick, and it feels like the staff actually cares whether everything is okay - all at a price that warrants return business. This was a return trip for us, on an otherwise awful snow day when nearly all other eateries were closed. Prices on the reasonable end of "mid-range", and service is top-drawer! To say it's a "cool place" just about covers it.

We, couple 45, no kids, frequently dine out, stopped in here for lunch. Pretzel/crab dip appetizer was just ok. Something strange about the crab dip, not spoiled, just different. 1/2 grilled chicken salad. Tiny. Very few toppings. A waste if money. Get the larger portion. Chicken wings. Can mix and match tastes. We got the bone in. They were good but a bit expensive. Also got a bread pudding to go, no ice cream which was included in price. Very small portion, very small. Full price charged. I don't think I'd go back because there are so many other options. Plenty of parking. Not noisy. Tons of stuff on the menu. Does that help?

It is a sports bar, so it is loud and almost always crowded. It is very family friendly and you often see youth sports teams there after a game. The food is excellent by pub standards and the service has always been very good.

It is our local pub / restaurant of choice.

If you are a fan of a loud sports bar (90 decibels on my sound meter), Glory Days is up your alley. Multiple TVs with a variety of events, and a packed, raucous fun crowd. The food is decent, but not great. Service about the same.

If you prefer the outdoor patio, it's sitting in the parking lot, with one side for smokers and the other side for those who prefer to inhale car exhaust. That's not the best setup, but it's the best the circumstances will allow, and if the day is pleasant enough, it works.

Several restaurants we've dined at over the past three months have served cooked food that was cold from "sitting around" in the kitchen. This was NOT the case with the Glory Days Grill in Fairfax. Our waiter, James, was courteous, prompt and checked back several times for drink refills. Our burgers and sides were both hot and tasteful. This was the first time I tried their "Prime Cheese Burger" and it was well worth the extra $1.25. The cole slaw was fresh and very good as well. Having the ability to select one of the TV stations, adjust the volume and listen to the displayed shows was a nice touch while waiting for our meals. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a good lunch and excellent service.
