It is clear to see from other reviews that this place has changed a lot since the new owners took over in November, we stopped off for Sunday Lunch. The place was almost empty when we went in except for a family of 4 having breakfast. We where shown to a table and ordered. I had a cowboy burger, with bacon and cheese, and my wife had a lasagne. The meals where huge, I had hand cut chips and peas with my burger and my wife had a salsa type side salad and garlic bread with hers. The waitress came back and asked if we where enjoying the meal which we did. The whole bill came to just over £22.00 which was really cheap and this included drinks. Its a shame that the Barn has now got to live down the legacy of the old establishment as outlined in the earlier reviews, the current team there are doing a good job and do not deserve to have this reputation hanging over them, I would urge you to go and just try it. Would we go again - yes.

Popped in for a catch up with a friend over lunch. Great atmosphere, friendly, warm welcome from the staff.

Plenty of choice on the menu, would highly recommend from a full English to cakes, panini's and much much more.

Free Wi-Fi was a nice touch, noticed there was a kiddies soft play area too.

Will definitely be back soon!

Thanks for the lovely comments. We are all delighted that you enjoyed The Barn Café.

Always looking for new ideas so if you have any please feel free to share them when you call in to see us again.

As you noticed there is a soft-play area for children under 5 and you are welcome to take your food/drinks into that area.

Dropped on for a quick lunch. Had a couple of baguettes which were delicious and fresh. Prices very reasonable also.
