Just back from a four day break with friends to celebrate a 40th birthday. We had a Maisonette with balcony and sea view in the main part of the hotel. Room was fabulous with good facilities although we could have done with a mirror in the mezzanine level and extra chairs on the balcony. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all the staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly, we particularly loved penny and the Canadian lady who organised trips and gave us great advice and Konstantinos at the pool bar who we introduced to the delight which is lemon slushy with gin. I would agree with some reviews that some food could have been hotter but it was just a case of picking wisely. The hotel is laid out I a very odd way with bits and pieces all over the place, the steps and slopes are not for the feint hearted but transport can Be provided. The beach bar was our favourite place and we really enjoyed meeting new friends and enjoying the fabulous weather. Would return tomorrow if I could although there was a huge influx of people when we were leaving so maybe not

Dear Bellybender,

It is always a pleasure to hear that our guests have enjoyed their stay with us and have profited from our facilities.
Remarks from guests are always taken into consideration and aid us in improving ourselves and hotel facilities.
I will definately pass on your kind words to Penny and Konstantinos.
Glad we could make your birthday a special one!!!
Hope to see you again in the near future.

Kind regards,

Sofia Konstantaki

Had the dis-fortune to stay in this hotel. Listed as 5 star but lucky to be 2 to 3. Stayed here for a week in October last year, each day the food got worse, they we reheating and reinventing from the previous day, selections got more limited each day, a chocolate fountain had been running 24/7 for 4 days until they ran out of things to dip in it....and on the last day we awoke to an absent staff, no food ALL DAY, we weren’t checking out till 10pm, and we had paid for all inclusive. We were left to sit in the lobby as they had packed up every sun bed and drained the pools because of the mud...What ever you do don’t be fooled in booking near the end of October (school holidays) as everything is closed down in the area and it’s a ghost town. We had terrible mud slides, they say the worst they had ever seen, ceiling was falling down outside our room. We had no power to air-con... The most disappointing holiday and without any compensation or apologies. Truly a old derelict hotel with poor electrics and staff with no conscience....

Main pool was really not clean at all , didin't even want to swim in it. Other pools was okey. A lot of sunbeds. Rooms was okey too, although weird, moist smell in it. Nice view to the beach, which we ordered. Nice gym, although old machines. Ants game from juice machine that located at the gym. Breakfast was okey , lot to choose from fuits, cakes etc, but it was only till 10am. Good restaurants nearby. Located at the hill, so you need to walk a lot. Nice hotels own sunbeds at the beach,,5 minutes walk from the hotel. Take a buss to Chania, 3 euros oneway.

This was our best Holiday ever not only because we got engaged ..... :) But let's start from the beginning ;)

The hotel is very spacious, located on a hill-top, cascading to the beach. Practically from every level you have a fabulous sea view!

Despite the size of the facility moving around does not cause any problems - the hotel has a melex car waiting for you on every corner. Right next to the entrance of the hotel there are numerous shops and a bus stop, from which you can travel to the beautiful and romantic town of Chania.
Galini has 3 bars - on the beach, by the pool and by the reception. We would like to take advantage of this opportunity and thank the crew members who always had a smile on their faces and were eager to help. There was a big variety of food, every day something new to eat, and our plates were filled up the brim :)
The hotel facility had 2 available restaurants - a chinese one, from which there was a magifnicent view to the sea and an itialian one, which took our breath away. The service was incredible and made you feel as if you were in the most exquisite restaurant.

We definitely plan on coming back to Gallini Sea View, because the hotel deserves 5 stars. Maybe for our honeymoon? ;)

It is amazing place. Hotel is situated on the hill, but it is not a problem in moove. Close to the beach and very usefull beach service with sunbeds and bar. Delicious food I think nobody can complain. Rooms are comfortable. Hotel stuff was very polite. I can recommend this hotel.
