Car parking seems to be free if you want a 1.2km walk. However, I would recommend paying €6,05 to be able to drive the car much closer. Only water is allowed to be taken down to the waterfall area but we found that perfectly acceptable, even in the height of summer! The walk down was sometimes a little muddy but easy to negotiate. Shoes to wear in the water would be good as the ground is stony and some larger rocks are slippery. It is a beautiful setting and worth braving the cold water for a swim! We arrived at 11am and very few people were there. By 12.30pm it was extremely busy, but we were ready to leave by then anyway.
