fabulous small and friendly hotel in a typical Murcian working town, A little difficult to find as its in the old town and on a one way system with no obvious signs. Breakfast was great and the room was a treat with a balcony to relax and take in the lovely surroundings.

Room Tip: Pay the extra and go for the top floor with a terrace

Waking up to the sun rise lighting up the mountain opposite our room, and standing on the small balcony watching the village come to life, what a pleasurable stay. Friendly and helpful receptionists, clean, just what we needed for our overnight stop en route from Madrid to Cartagena.

After a long walk along the GR7 footpath it was a relief to arrive at this hotel among the narrow streets of Cieza with very welcoming staff, who explained where the bus station was I would need the next day and recommended a good restaurant, the museum next door and an art exhibition opposite. While the building was of ancient heritage it had recently been modernised very tastefully.
May not be the best place if you have a car.
