Very impressed

Bright , clean and tasteful.

We visited on a voucher deal which included 4 courses, cocktail and coffee.

The food was delicious and well presented. Was served in plenty time by friendly staff.

Would definitely recommend a visit.

We visited for a family dinner. About 8 people. Food was very enjoyable and has moved from traditional a la carte to a more market/bistro style offering. For our group that was great, plenty of choice. The duck spring roll starter was very good. Could do with greater choice of vegetarian options. Portions are good - everyone was full on a starter and main.

Service felt a bit slow - especially for drinks, as we had to chase rounds a couple of times. While it didn't feel particularly busy (we were sat in the front part of the restaurant near the bar) so couldn't tell how busy it was further back into the restaurant.

Staff were attentive - checking on us a number of times, without being intrusive - and were very personable and polite.

Plenty of parking. There are limited spaces immediately outside the restaurant entrance and the main car park is a short walk downhill, nearer the main road, but still on the grounds of Glenskirlie.

All in all a good experience and we'd go back.

We hadn’t been to Glenskirlie for several years and visited with our friends. The decor was very different and bright. The entrance was a little tight for our friend who is in a wheelchair but staff were very helpful. The food was delicious and good portions were well presented. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next week with family. It was just as good second time around. Great selection for gluten free customers. Compared to years ago the atmosphere and food is not as impressive but nevertheless more relaxed and traditional food delicious and great service.

We booked in the main restaurant again for my parents-in-law Golden Wedding celebration just over a week ago as we've had many special occasions here in the past.
The Glenskirlie NEVER fails to impress.
The staff were excellent from start to finish and the food is of the highest standard.
Nothing was too much trouble.
My wife had made the cake and the restaurant kept it safe then cut it and brought it out after the meal.
Always our number one choice in the area for such occasions. For less formal gatherings, the grill serves equally as stunning food in slightly more casual surroundings.
Can't wait to return.
