Fantastic scenery. Beautiful country. Lovely food and never a bad glass of wine. Close to beach. Free beach towels & loungers every single day. Fab air con. We had a terrible view of the kitchen roof, really awful and disgusting. There are a few sea view rooms but not many. Dont bother emailing the hotel prior to going requesting a sea view as you will not get a response. We tried several times with this request, even offering to pay to secure a nice sea view room. Nothing much in Beccici however Budva which is 5mins taxi away is beautiful and plenty of choice for restaurants/bars etc. Also recommend a day trip to Kotor Bay. Fantastic.
This hotel was full of ignorant Russians, spitting on beach and fighting you to get in/out of lift. No manners at all. This is no exaggeration at all and I am trying to be as fair as I can writing this review.
During our stay 99% Russians. Even have their private bar which we couldn’t use. Our bar was upstairs out of the way, unoccupied, dull, boring, no life at all, bit like an unused train station. No music, no entertainment as the brochure suggests. Russians could play board games/chess etc in their private exclusive lounge.
Indoor swimming pool/sauna – dreadful. Outdoor swimming pools tiny.
No where suitable on evenings to sit outside and have a drink, only a poor lit terrace, no music at all – just dull and boring! If you do have a drink here, you are quickly hurtled back inside at 11pm where you can either go to the dull boring bar upstairs for drink until 12pm when it closes. I can only describe this as a conference room. Not relaxing or cosy or what you would expect. This is not what you go on holiday for. I like simple things like having a drink at the hotel bar maybe before you go out or when you return. Not much to ask for really but it seems very difficult to achieve to most simple of things in this hotel such a nice bar area!
Terrible English speaking waiters however reception staff were quite good.
This hotel may have improved its facilities within the next few years however Montenengro will always be over run with Russians and that is the only reason I wont be returning. Beautiful country though.

Can pay anything for 2euro to 7euro for a glass of wine. Would recommend krystac which is a white wine. You can buy a bottle from the shop for under 3euro but will pay around 3euro for a glass in your hotel.

You can use hotel Splendid facilities, very expensive but nice to have a tour round.

This review is not to put people off but to prepare them for what to expect when get there and hopefully to help make your decision when booking this hotel. We had a lovely time apart from the weather on the second week. Relentless thunder storms.

This hotel was very disappointing and was not worth the money. It is advertised as a four star hotel and is maybe a 2 or 3 star. The hotel is run-down. The pool area is terrible with very small pools. The grounds / pool are dirty and not well kept. The only positive was the reception staff was nice and the hotel is on the beach. There are probably many better options (like Hotel Splendid) than this hotel.

I was very impressed with this hotel. The facilities were excellent and never too crowded.

The rooms were very clean and quiet.

The hotel's section of the beach was combed every evening and looked to be the be the best kept section in Becici.

I highly recommend the Montenegrin Colada from the pool bar

This was a good hotel in a spectacular location and although it seemed that the rooms and corridors had recently been upgraded some of the public areas, especially the dining room still had a rather grim communist era feel. The staff were very helpful and friendly and there were lots of them. The food was OK but we only stayed a week, after a fortnight I imagine it might get a little repetitive. When the dining room was busy, both at breakfast and dinner, it sometimes creaked a little under the strain and dishes were not replenished once they had run out.
Our main criticism, however was the lack of any quiet area where we could relax free from constant and highly intrusive music. Even first thing in the morning breakfast on the balcony was accompanied by pop music from the empty pool bar down below.
The Hotel Montenegro is a good hotel but is it really worth four stars?

On arrival the staff were really friendly and check in was a breeze. Much what you would expect from a 4 star hotel.. Very clean and well presented, especially the pool and garden area..

Not as busy as I had expected so alot of the time my friend and I had a pool to ourselves when we were sunbathing. sandwiched between The Splendid Spa and Iberostar hotel. They are currently building a further hotel on the hill overlooking these hotels, the area is very busy and built up but the views out of the hotel are lovely..

The staff are so nice and friendly at reception and at the pool bar, always smiling and saying hello.

Breakfast is great, so much to choose from and also not too busy, plenty fresh food laid out breakfast and dinner..

The weather was hot hot hot.. 35 plus every day.

I do however ahve to point out the hotel evening entertainment!! They have one of those auful animation teams, that keep popping up in hotels, trying to entertain you!! Usually a bunch of over confident and pushy teenagers!! They were not pushy but they were very annoying, even miming on the stage to music in the morning!! Auful!! They did put a good show on one evening, they are great dancers! But I do wish hotels would limit them to certain times..

Overall a fantastic hotel in a beautiful country!!
