We stayed in a two bedroom condo here on the second floor for two weeks in February. Our experience was mixed and even though there were things we really liked, the pluses did not outweigh the minuses and we will not go back to B Nayor.

The good:

Condo had great lay out, large open concept, big bedrooms, lovely master bathroom and generous kitchen. We loved the covered outdoor balcony, spent many mornings and evenings out there hanging out, enjoying a meal or playing cards at night. View was beautiful, overlooking gorgeous condo pool, gardens, Banderas Bay in the distance surrounded by mountains.
The grounds are lovely and outdoor resort amenities included a beach club, 3 gorgeous pools, nice beach and we had a wonderful massage at the spa one day. Lots of chairs, umbrellas and you never had to fight for a chair. Overall the property seemed about 1/3 occupied at any one time.

This is a gated community with security and we felt very safe here. The location near LaCruz (daily fish market and Sunday market is 10 minute walk down the beach!) and Bucerias were fun to explore, we enjoyed getting out in the community to grocery shop, went to markets, including the Bucerias Art Walk on Thursday’s, and we tried a number of fantastic restaurants in the towns nearby (Best- Sandrina’s we went twice, run by Canadians, easy to negotiate menu and food restrictions). We felt safe everywhere we went and folks in the community were very friendly and welcoming.
Cabs were easy to come by and inexpensive. We rented a car twice - a day trip to the mountain town of San Sebastián was a fun experience. Another time we rented a car and went to Puerto Vallarta to walk the malecon and go to a fantastic hill side restaurant called Casa Isabel (see my Yelp reviews of these restaurants and others).

The bad:

The main condo at B Nayar is surrounded by 6 buildings in various stages of construction. Two significant new buildings were directly beside and behind our building. Construction noise in the early am until 7-8pm really interfered with our enjoyment of the property. It woke up the couple in the back bedroom early every morning and often prevented us from enjoying the pool in front of the building. It was loud, persistent and very annoying. Our frustration with this unexpected and undisclosed issue was not resolved by B Nayar during our stay. Certainly they can’t help the construction, but they couldn’t offer alternative accommodation and didn’t offer us anything for our inconvenience and discomfort, except finally two weeks after we got home we received an offer of a small discount on a future stay.
Our unit was not clean - my white socks were almost black after walking around inside for less than an hour. Bath and hand towels were frayed and stained. When we told them about this, about half way through our stay we received newer towels every day. The vanity in the smaller second bathroom was rotted and falling apart, pieces of wood falling to the floor if you brushed against it. Our friends decided to also use a small third bathroom in the unit (a nice feature), but it was very dirty and probably rarely used and ignored by the cleaning staff. We had to buy dish soup, t-towels, laundry soup. There was only a used, dirty sponge beside the kitchen sink. We had to request some additional cooking pots, pans and certain basic utensils because what was supplied was too minimal. Beware no basics like spices, salt and pepper, bottled water, bring or buy your own. We had to empty and clean out the cutlery drawer and all the cutlery - not clean.

The king mattress in the master bedroom was so uncomfortable (hard and worn into lower and higher bulges here and there), we had to ask for a new mattress, it was that bad. I’m happy to say that by about Day 4 we received a much better replacement mattress.
We twice tried to use the grocery shopping service through the concierge - for a few initial supplies to be stocked on our arrival and in the second week for a few things. Each time the order came wrong due to communication problems. Our second order I even wrote it in Spanish using a translator app(lol), but it still came back wrong. We ordered breakfast from the beach club, delivered to our room the first morning and it also came wrong. Overall we found the staff’s inability to communicate in English prevented us from fully using the concierge and other services.

The beach was a distance away, but we either walked or used the golf cart service provided. To get away from the construction noise, we often preferred to go to the beach or the beach pool. Unfortunately, this almost empty resort-like paradise was ruined by the persistent and far too loud dance music that they played from the outdoor speakers from noon onward. To make it worse, the speakers were not in good shape and the music so loud that it came out distorted. Wow. We asked them to turn it down a few times, sometimes they did, sometimes they didn’t. Some days were better then others. We experimented with different locations in the almost deserted pool and beach area to get away from it to minimize its intrusion. Late in the second week we discovered a spot in the back of the pool further away from the beach that we only ever saw used by one couple in the morning for a little while. By tucking ourself away to the back and dropping a towel on the outdoor speaker positioned back there, we were able to find a little peace. Sometimes we went back to the condo pool despite the construction noise, to get away from the loud music!

Conclusion - lots of good but too many not so good. We absolutely loved this area and will definitely be back, but never again to B Nayor. A future which could include no more construction, better onsite management and supervision of staff and basic facility and services would go a long way to improving the guest experience. Right now, however, B Nayor fails to meet expectations.

We had really bad experience with the staff at the holtel. They charged us extra for the third person even though we booked room for 6. Expedia would not charg us for en up to six adults but since we didn’t put in in the reservación they did. The room we got was dirty, the pillows didn’t have covers, there was no hair dryer... and the stuff didn’t speak ANY English. No even basic knowledge. The room are nice and the hotel is ok but the stuff makes it experience horrible! Safe yourself a hussel and go somewhere else!

This beautiful hotel is the paradise. Many green areas, awesome pools and amazing beach. Rooms are little apartments with many amenities. Clean and very big bedrooms. Beds are extremely comfortables. Views are fantastic. Food is delicious and the services from everyone is perfect. All people are very friendly. The property is located inside a private neighborhood which means a very safe place to stay. I highly recommend this property for family and business trip. Very secure for families and extremely relaxing for a solo or business trip. I totally fallen in love.

Yesterday I took my family to B Nayar. You can tell that the administration was changed. Now they have towels for the day pass but not service. I had to stand to order anything from the bar. Even brought back the dirty dishes. No one of the waiters apologized and took over. Only they did not care.

The hotel is more like a compound with apartments and houses to be sold. It seems as long as not everything is sold they rent the apartments as a hotel.
For this reason we got a complete apartment (estimate: 140m2) exclusively equipped with granite surfaces, a huge kitchen, etc. for a reasonable price.
The service was great, really engaged staff, polite and willing to help.
So - no, it is not a hotel like you know from the big chains like Hilton, etc., there was no entertainment or animation program - but it was relaxing, not stress or noisy at all, a maximum of 20 people at all at the pool.
We spent there 4 nights with my small family (my wife, my daughter and me) - and we loved it. I would do it again ...

Room Tip: The management seems to be open to negotiate about the price ...
