“La Cruz Sunday Farmers Market”

Not sure if the Farmers Market is held year round, but when we visited on a Sunday in March, there was so much going on. Vendors sold organic foods, smoothies, baked goods, coffee, flowers. Artists sold paintings, jewelry, clothing, crafts, shoes, folk art. The market is located at the marina, near the fish market and it gets crowded. A band performed. Go early before it is too hot or crowded.

Great venue for local artisans - art, food, clothing - is available. Located along the marina and near the fish market, this is a must see.

Love going to La Cruz market. Many talented artisans, great variety of food and drinks at the food court area. Go early in January to March as it gets very busy. A very enjoyable market.
We also enjoyed another Mexican market at La Cruz square with lots of variety and also nice music.

We took our two young kids and grandparents to the Sunday market and it was fun for all! Fresh cold fruit water, delicious food, lots of good shopping items, and not too crowded if you go early. The kids loved the live music. Something for everyone! Prices were a bit elevated for the tourists, but overall a lovely experience!

Anytime of the day you can't go wrong at the Octopus Garden. The story of the couple that started this phenomenon is amazing. From the street side the building looks like an armory but stepping in it's fantastic. Large open area for outdoor eating and a stair way leads up to a spacious bar and eating area which corners yet a high ceiling over a stage/ event area. Behind all of this is a hostel.
My friends and I watched a film their one evening after fish tacos and margaritas. Would love to return!!
