Staying at this hotel, you feel transported to an old hacienda in some quaint village. It was lovely. The hotel is on the vineyard. There are also lots of olive trees as they make olive oil as well. There is an onsite restaurant and bar, which was great. Super friendly staff and the rooms were very nice. The hotel has an outdoor pool with mountains in the distance. We had massages there which were wonderful. We loved this hotel and will be back!

We flew into MDZ on Christmas and rented a car to get around Mendoza province. The rental car experience was positive, and we easily found our way to Club Tapiz - about a 30 minute drive. Roads and traffic were not difficult to navigate, so it was worth having a car.
Our host at Club Tapiz greeted us in the driveway and showed us around the property. She was very helpful and friendly - she even provided us with the sunscreen we forgot! The rooms were simple and clean, with a hair dryer and a safe, and an en suite bathroom. There are only 7 rooms, so it is a very intimate experience, we you get to know the other guests while at the restaurant, the pool, or the evening wine tasting.
The pool was perfect and clean and the restaurant staff tended to us by the pool. There were about 8 lounge chairs by the pool and a couple of umbrellas. Anything we ordered on the property could be added to our "room service" bill - we did not have to wait until the lunch or dinner hours of the restaurant. Cold rosé and the steak sandwich were phenomenal. This was the best meal of the entire trip. Definitely order the steak sandwich from the room service menu.
We set up a massage through email prior to our arrival and they easily accommodated the two of us at the same time (different rooms). Prices were much more affordable than in the U.S. - about $40 USD each.
They offer a wine tasting out on the patio each night at 8pm, which was a wonderful and casual experience. We had made a reservation for dinner at 8, but we did not need to alert the restaurant that we would be late - dinner is for the guests, and so they are ready for you whenever you arrive. Dinner was spectacular.
Before you leave, be sure to explore the building next to the parking lot. Club Tapiz is a very old winery, and you can see where the wine was/is bottled and stored.
We would have spend several days here if we did not have other reservations out of town. A highly recommended experience!

We stayed at the Club Tapiz Hotel for two nights, it is situated in the Mendoza region Maipú in the middle of wineyards. We had a room with our own patio looking over pool and vineyards, which was very nice, as you could relax there after the adventurous day with a bottle of Tapiz wine. Our room was big and comfortable, there is no Tv but being in the wine region you don’t really need one for falling asleep:-) there is a nice big pool facing the vineyards and the mountains in the back. They also have a restaurant where you always get preferred booking. We had dinner there twice, which was very good. At 8pm you can meet with other guests for a wine tasting , which is for free, which I think is a nice and generous idea.
I want to especially focus on the service of the reception. They are very eager to help you with any problem you have, as we did with our rental car company, they give you Tipps, make reservations, we felt very much helped!.
All in all a great stay that made us feel very welcome and relaxed right at the Beginning of our holiday!

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon and had a fantastic time. A small cosy hotel set in a vineyard with the Andes in the background - it’s picture perfect! The staff are so helpful, from helping to arrange wine tastings and lunches at local vineyards, to taxi services or where to get hold of cash in the area.
There is a free wine tasting at 8pm every evening, which is a great way to try the hotel’s own wines, but also to meet the other guests. This is great for getting useful tips on which are the best local vineyards to go to, but also other activities in the area.
We would highly recommend Club Tapiz!
