Came here with two other tourists that I met on my way in Iran. We ended up staying at the same hotel so we went to dinner together. This was an excellent way to try Iranian/Persian cuisines without just having kabobs all the time. We drank dough (traditional yogurt water drink) and had similar to homemade khoreshts (similar to stews or curries to non-Iranians). You have to order and pay at the very front of the restaurant (which is L-shaped) then you collect your receipt and go sit down. At your table you give your receipt to a waiter and they bring your foods. We even had saffaron tea and watermelons for desserts. There was even a live band playing there which was great.
