After mentioning The Pig in Muck to a few friends we decided a lunchtime visit was a good idea. It turned out to be a fantastic idea, we hadn’t booked and though they was busy they made room for us.
Good Friday, it had to be fish, we all decided on the standard portion of fish n chips, good size portion without being over the top, tasty crunchy light batter covered the white fish, chips perfectly cooked, mushy peas and a salad garnish.
Driving meant I couldn’t enjoy the home brew, it certainly looked a good pint and the others sampled more than one or two. We didn’t have sweets but I will say the coffee’s good too.
Overall Very good food and hospitality, a very warm welcome, made to feel a regular.
We loved the postcard photos in the toilets, had a good giggle over them and the toilets, spotlessly clean.
We all came away feeling full and happy.
Thank you for fitting us in and thank you for starting our Easter off to a lovely start....
