Wanted a good place to catch up with family where we could talk quietly over a nice lunch. The food was well cooked with fresh veg and a choice of potatoes. I really enjoyed the lamb and apricot pie, not a trace of fat! The service was friendly and quietly efficient. We have visited the Thatched Inn for many years now and it is consistently good.

Have just spent a very pleasant lunchime at this beautiful picturesque pub/restaurant. Staff were friendly, polite and attentive and we were made to feel very welcome.
The menu is extensive with plenty of choices for all diets and intolerances.
Our food was served in good time, was lovely and hot, beautifully presented and very very tasty portions were extremely generous. Excellent value for money and well worth a visit. Will definitely go back there.

Decided to try this pub as we drove past.
Very friendly helpful staff and service quick.
On the negative side. Toilet could have been cleaner and needs up grading.
Chips were dried up and seemed like oven chips.
Steak, ale and mushroom pie was really nice.

We popped in for lunch and what a great decision. The restaurant was very busy and it was only 12:30. We found a table for two in the window and was given a menu. There was a good selection on the menu and we both ordered the steak and ale pie. The meals were cooked fresh and came hot and well presented and the pie filling was exceptional, the meat was succulent, tender and moist. For desert we had the torte religieuses and banoffee pie and they were really delicious and of good proportions. The staff are welcoming, polite and attentive. We will definitely be returning soon

Having needed somewhere for a celebratory birthday Sunday lunch, I am so glad we picked The Thatched Inn.

Despite it being very busy (we had pre-booked due to the size of our party) the service was polite and efficient. At no time were we made to feel rushed either.

Our party had a wide range of choices from the menu and everyone loved their food although one tip...the portions are very large! For the prices charged as well it is very good value.

We would definitely return and would certainly recommend The Thatched Inn.
