Great atmosphere, very helpful staff. There was a separate menu for vegans with a good choice of food.
Definitely recommend.

Been to this restaurant a number of times so a old friend was travelling to see me so decided to go here as we always get a great meal here maybe it’s not so good when there not busy but my friend ordered a pasta was Luke warm so we mentioned it to the waiter he took it without saying a word brought another one back which was tasteless my friend put loads of cheese on it so she could eat it ready disappointed was so looking forward to going here and told her how lovely it was they did take her meal off the bill but to be honest I would have much rather had a nice lunch with my friends all together rather than her eating after we had finished won’t be returning there.

For starters we had the scallops (which were amazing) and the deep fried cheese which was undercooked and not gooey in the middle. Mains was the Wagyu burger and roast pork belly with crackling. Burger was to small for the bun and for £17 the beef didn’t taste anything special. The roast pork belly was on the small size, underseasoned and dry. The pork crackling had a strange pale colour with a spongy consistency and was inedible. Our main dessert choice was not available so we shared the passion fruit crème brûlée which was pleasant.

Went here with friends on a Saturday evening. Place was cosy with a lovely atmosphere. Food was excellent and staff couldn’t do enough for us. Was quite busy but had enough space that it didn’t feel overcrowded. Comfortable table and chairs and had a nice homely feel. Had function rooms too so good for private celebrations. Would definitely go back again!!

Lunch today. Both Ordered the £9.95 steak sandwich which we have had before. Up came two halves of a small roll, about 5 cm long, no dripping as advertised, tiny slithers of supposedly prime steak and a tiny bit of chutney on the bottom. The roll was dry. We both sent the meal back and the staff were lovely and replaced it but still with same dry rolls. No chunky chips at all apparently none left in freezer. My point is that food should never have left the kitchen in that state and I appreciate that it was replaced. The table near us had to send their food back as well.
Crumble was nice though not particularly warm.
Staff lovely and we felt very embarrassed sending food back as only done that once before ever and am in my fifties but for £10 to be presented far worse and drier than a packaged sandwich is not acceptable.
