The hall is interesting and there are lots of things to see.
As a previous reviewer has said, there re lots of repetitive photos of Mr Zhou shaking hand with foreign leaders.

It's an interesting insight into Chinese politics. For the people, it seems that people such as Mr Zhou become the equivalent of, and admired as the English Queen. There are a lot of people who will speak passionately about the leaders.

We went with a family and a few others and the Mother (Maggie) was very into her political leaders andgave us some fascinating information on the way round.

Huai'An is a beautiful city and retains a small town feel. Well worth visiting.

It is the place to visit to understand him better. It will be good with a guide to explain the detail.

We went to the Zhou Enlair memorial hall, which was definitely off the beaten track for tourists. We had 3 kids with us and they especially enjoyed seeing the car that Zhou Enlai had driven and the room where he grew up. There was also a place to feed the fish and a man selling fish food. The complex was free. There was a fair amount of walking, although a shuttle was available to take us to the end of the visit. We did that and walked back.

Well laid out and pleasant museum and park that provides more information about Zhou En'lai than you can ever need. Slightly repetitive however as the exhibition is very photo-based, i.e. lots of pictures of Zhou En'lai shaking hands with foreign leaders, giving speeches etc. English translations on photos so easy to follow the course of his life. Little on his personal life however as the exhibition focussed on his political career and not the man himself. Main concern was the potentially tranquil museum shattered by loud tour guides with microphones. The grounds of the park are lovely and worth a stroll.

It was free but I found it quite annoying that people(and security guards) ignored the "no photo" sign.
