We arrived at the hotel early in the day and was warmly greeted by the staff that helpet us with the luggage and check in.
But heres is the first annoying thing - We recieved a welcom drink and were asked to fill out a guest information card for both persons, information we already sendt to the Trip operator, so the check in took, include a short tour 20-30 minutes. After many hours of travelling this is not ideal.
We were finally shown our room, a double room with direct pool access. The room was clean, decent sized, with a double bed, minibar, safe deposit box. Bathroom with bathtub/shower. Complimenery a bottle of wine upon arrival, and daily, a bottle of water trough the whole stay. The interior is a bit dark and gloomy, also inside the bathroom.
The Pool area is nice and clean with plenty of sunbeds. Nicely garden area, clean and spaceous. The buliding and surroundings are clean and properly mantained.
The dresscode for men (long trousers) in the restaurant is a bit strange. The dinner buffet was a dissapointment. The lunch restaurant was nice and the food was good.
We also tried the SPA and had a beautiful experience with the massage and treatments.
The beach is private for guests, free sunbeds and offers a Beach service wich you can order food and drinks delivered to your sunbed. (3 eur charge) This is just great! The beach is a 3 min. walk from the hotel center.
*Great pool area
*Great rooms, specially with direct pool entry or private pool
*Great bar and restaurants
*Great gardens, beach and beach service
*Good SPA and Training room
*Long check-in, filling out forms with information we already filled out to tour operator.
*English language barrier; Even the simple things seem difficult to understand and we felt it was of no use trying to ask about anything.
*Mini-Bar was NOT refilled. After 3 days we hang a sign outside the door "Refill the mini-Bar)....(a bit strange)
*I down want to ask for a vaitor to get a cup of cofee for my breakfast. This i can pick up myself along with the rest of my breakfast (That i must get myself anyway! )
*The mini-marked has almost nothing to buy of beer, mineral water or soft drink. The hotel is doing this so that you must buy this in the bar most likely. There is some big 1.5 litres of some sorts that wont fit in the fridge anyway. Likewise with the snacks.
*Pricing: Everything from the snacks and food to the pool toys is a bit overpriced. A lot of the goods are more expencive here than in ex. Norway.
All in all, a good stay at a great hotel.
