We arrived at the hotel early in the day and was warmly greeted by the staff that helpet us with the luggage and check in.
But heres is the first annoying thing - We recieved a welcom drink and were asked to fill out a guest information card for both persons, information we already sendt to the Trip operator, so the check in took, include a short tour 20-30 minutes. After many hours of travelling this is not ideal.

We were finally shown our room, a double room with direct pool access. The room was clean, decent sized, with a double bed, minibar, safe deposit box. Bathroom with bathtub/shower. Complimenery a bottle of wine upon arrival, and daily, a bottle of water trough the whole stay. The interior is a bit dark and gloomy, also inside the bathroom.

The Pool area is nice and clean with plenty of sunbeds. Nicely garden area, clean and spaceous. The buliding and surroundings are clean and properly mantained.

The dresscode for men (long trousers) in the restaurant is a bit strange. The dinner buffet was a dissapointment. The lunch restaurant was nice and the food was good.
We also tried the SPA and had a beautiful experience with the massage and treatments.

The beach is private for guests, free sunbeds and offers a Beach service wich you can order food and drinks delivered to your sunbed. (3 eur charge) This is just great! The beach is a 3 min. walk from the hotel center.

*Great pool area
*Great rooms, specially with direct pool entry or private pool
*Great bar and restaurants
*Great gardens, beach and beach service
*Good SPA and Training room

*Long check-in, filling out forms with information we already filled out to tour operator.

*English language barrier; Even the simple things seem difficult to understand and we felt it was of no use trying to ask about anything.
*Mini-Bar was NOT refilled. After 3 days we hang a sign outside the door "Refill the mini-Bar)....(a bit strange)

*I down want to ask for a vaitor to get a cup of cofee for my breakfast. This i can pick up myself along with the rest of my breakfast (That i must get myself anyway! )

*The mini-marked has almost nothing to buy of beer, mineral water or soft drink. The hotel is doing this so that you must buy this in the bar most likely. There is some big 1.5 litres of some sorts that wont fit in the fridge anyway. Likewise with the snacks.

*Pricing: Everything from the snacks and food to the pool toys is a bit overpriced. A lot of the goods are more expencive here than in ex. Norway.

All in all, a good stay at a great hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms with direct access to pool have larger outside area and private sunbeds + chairs and table.

Outstanding hotel in every way...stunning pools and landscaping. Great facilities and food...fab private beach...lovely staff...great food...honestly couldn't fault it in any way... The village itself is a little basic but there are some restaurants with excellent food even if in need of a little refurb...there is a bus to Kos town which only costs 2 euros...so getting out is easy if you want to...would most definitely come back...

Thiswas our first visit to the hotel and I can totally see why people repeat visit. From the time we checked in and were offered a drink to check out its been truely lovely.
We travelled as a couple and had a swim up room along the main pool. I would highly recommend booking one. Ours didn't have sun in the morning but this suited us as it meant the room only got sun from mid morning onwards and didn't get too hot, although the air con was great.
The room was amazing and as we arrived after dinner we have a cold salad and bottle of wine left for us which was very welcome - nothing like starting a holiday drinking a glass of wine on your private patio overlooking the pool!
The food was very varied and my partner certainly made ample use of the desserts! It was nice that there was all manner of styles for all tastes so I don't think you can go wrong. The staff were very polite and always helped and even taught my partner Greek phrases which was appreciated.
The pool just isn't really possible to photograph and to give it justice. It is roughly 1m deep but so long you can swim of hours and really relax. We used the private beach too and this was beautiful with waiter service and melon distribution which was great in the heat. The water is warm so you can swim and splash about as much as you wish.
The area surrounding the hotel is a bit sparse so nice if you wish to totally get away but there is a regular bus outside The hotel to Kos Town and this only takes 25 mins. We walked to Marmari and this only took 10 mins so it's easy to get to and there are some nice bars on the sea front to watch the world go by and eat fresh calamari.
The entertainment was a little bit and miss and we particularly found the DJ hilarious as he was stopping songs mid way through, badly mixing songs and generally needed to practice! The amazing cocktails certainly made up for that though!
Overall an amazing hotel and staff and we couldn't fault the service, food or room.

Our first holiday to Palazzo del Mare in 2015 was so enjoyable that my wife and I returned this year for another week.
This is now a 5 star adult only hotel. Much has improved - the evening entertainment, the food, the service etc. The hotel is uniquely modern with a formal layout of gardens, pools and circulation. You need to be here to experience and enjoy this hotel
We received a surprise welcome with flowers and a bottle of bubbly in our room for our return visit and a personal thank you from the manager!
We know we will return
Highly recommended.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 10 days in July and absolutely loved it! The hotel staff are amazing and so helpful. The hotel is situated 2 minutes from the beach and the pool is amazing. Couldn't recommend this hotel any more!
