A fantastic hotel with an amazing pool and wonderful grounds that are kept impeccable. We had a swim up room which was well worth the cost, with a large patio area with two comfortable sun beds and an umbrella and chair and tables. Our room was on the roof got hand side as you look down to the sea which had the sun from about 10 onwards. The rooms on the other side did not seem to have the sun in the afternoon. If you do not have a swim up room there are always plenty of sun beds around the pool. The hotel looks wonderful. The food was fantastic. We payed for full board and that included a beer plus to soft drinks at lunch and dinner. The lunch at the pool bar was excellent particularly the pizza. The staff need a particular mention, they are superb. Our room was cleaned every day which you would expect and the staff in the restaurant were always on hand to clear the tables and fill your glass. You were always greater wth a smile. Access to the lovely beach was across a quite road. The only thing I would say is that though it is said that entertainment is low key some more variety would perhaps keep more people in the hotel in the evening. The area around the hotel is quiet and surprisingly rural but great for walking. The salt lake is worth a walk too and there were even some flamingoes still there. This is a wonderful hotel which I would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Swim up room is worth it

We've been to 3 Blue Lagoon hotels previously and really enjoyed the family holidays, this was our 1st adult only experience and wow what a perfect chill out!! We stayed in an executive suite with private pool which was a huge treat and so amazing. The whole place is immaculate and so peaceful, the main pools are stunning and never busy. We spent most mornings on the beach as there was a welcome breeze, it was sandy with clear water and always free sun beds. We were on full board plus which included really nice lunches with wine, beer, water and soft drinks at the pool bar....freshly prepared good quality food......amazing staff who we enjoyed having a laugh with! Breakfast and dinner was buffet with a varied selection of good quality dishes, the restaurant staff were friendly and efficient....couldn't fault the service. We tried the evening entertainment a couple of times but decided it wasn't really our thing and we preferred the pool bar after dinner, chatting and trying different cocktails...all made to perfection, brilliant end to the day!! Need to mention the gardens here....absolutely fabulous, amazing how the gardeners can achieve such high standards working in such heat! We loved the hotel so much we didn't venture out as much as we probably should but we did enjoy the 3 island boat trip, stunning scenery and lots of laughs with the very witty crew and so lucky to see dolphins. We love family holidays but the adult only experience here was truly amazing and we would love to return....perfect chill out and huge thanks to the staff who made it so memorable. Shame about Kos airport!!!

We've just returned from this beautiful hotel. The pools are amazing and there is never a problem finding a lounger. The pool bar is good but it can take some time getting your drinks after ordering. I think it's because there is enough waiting staff but on my one bartender for the pool, the beach and the restaurant
The hotel is very clean and well maintained. I have read previous reviews about black feet in the rooms and this is true. The floors appear clean but the white slippers they provide and my flip flops had black bottoms too. Very strange.
I never worried about leaving belongings anywhere, even on the private beach which is beautiful too
The terrace area is nice. The petite blonde lady with the ponytail is lovely. The entertainment most nights is a singer but they have the occasional dance show and Greek night which were very professional
The restaurant is beautiful too. The waiters are very attentive...sometimes a bit too quick to remove plates though. The food is fantastic. There is a lady cooking fried eggs and omelettes but she either likes you or she doesn't! She didn't like me and didn't speak to me in English and my fillings were just one piece of tomato, mushroom and pepper. She liked my boyfriend though do in the end he got them for me and they were brimming with fillings......we just turned it into a joke though!
Drinks expensive but you expect that so we stocked up at the supermarket in Marmari
Zia is a must. A local waitress told us that Thermi and a beach called Sunny beach on the Kefalo side were lovely. Somebody else mentioned Paradise beach too.
We hired a quad for a few days from Trust in Marmari
The hotel is very quiet maybe too quiet for some. The only issue is the hotel next door (First Choice) can get quite loud on their speakers
We visited Kos town 2 days before the earthquake and glad we did. We planned to return but then the earthquake hit which was very sad. So to see the town, you should allow two days to see it.
All in all, a great place!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week half board on arrival was not too happy with the room but manager was brill and changed next day it's a good location in a quit area good bus service .. had a earthquake whilst we was there but didn't really ruin our holiday or see any damage although kos did. The only real gripe I got is that when your asking the staff for drinks or explaining how you want something specifically presented to you there a communication breakdown and you think oh FFS here we go again because some staffs English is rubbish. There are lots of Germans at this hotel so you feel a minority if you're English. Also the airport is absolutely diabolical ... We actually had a earthquake at airport and was shepherded outside by the rude police officials ..I would never return to Greece or any part of it after my experience . But can't fault the hotel .

Having been to this hotel 8 times we had expected the time would come to look elsewhere, but we find each time we enjoy it more. The main pool is fantastic, the food is excellent (being a buffet you can have good variety of food for the whole holiday rather than eating off a menu which is ok for a few days before you run out of choice). The staff are what makes this hotel special. They are all lovely people, they genuinely want your stay to be happy. We genuinely love every second of being there. We are quiet people, and this hotel suits quiet couples rather than those seeking lively entertainment. We will return again.
