If you can get past the party atmosphere of this hostel (karaoke, beer pong, etc as evening activities that run until midnight) then it’s worth it just to enjoy their pool. Big in size. Lots of seating. Grass area to lay out.

No outside food can be brought into the hostel. That’s okay though. They have a big restaurant onsite that offers breakfast, pizza, pastas, fries and burgers, lots of traditional Vietnamese dishes like pho and fried rice, plus an extensive bar all at a reasonable price.

I stayed in a private room with double bed. Bed was a little hard (but I like that), sheets were clean and room was clean. Nothing special though in terms of decor. Very basic - almost felt like a hospital room. Shower was hot. Few ants in the room on the floor and in the bathroom sink.

Check in and out was easy.

Come prepared with cash as their is only one ATM across the street.

Stayed here during the Tet celebration which made the rooms more expensive. Even though, we thought it was value for the money. We had the deluxe double room with both a fan and air con. (They also have a lot of doorms if you are on a budget) You get a tv in the room and the hostel have a pool and restaurant. Close to the beach and restaurants nearby. Would recommend to people who like to make new friends. Every night there is a different activity in the restaurant/bar. They close around midnight tho so you could still get some sleep. We would’ve stayed longer if we didn’t have a bus booked to Cambodia the next day. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here for three nights during my trip through Vietnam. Nice and clean rooms (I stayed in a dorm with six beds) Very nice pool, bar and restaurant. And there are lot of good restaurants nearby (fresh seafood!)

This is a place for young people, not for families. The swimming pool was fantastic, you could stay all day there from dawn to night. The staff at the bar was really nice too what made it the perfect combination (pool right beside the bar with food, drink and games). though I didn't like the receptionist. Everything was a problem and she never gave a solution for it. If we weren't happy for something and asked for more info, usually referred to the manager who was never there and never knew when would be back. Charged in US dollars even if the booking was made in local currency with a different exchange rate so the price was higher (bear in mind that it was our last stop and we were already counting on the cash to pay). As well, she sold us a guided tour to the dunes and other places but didn't explain it was a driver, not a guide, so he dropped us at the bottom of the dunes when was starting to raise the sun and told us in that moment that we had to pay extra to get a moto to bring us and see the sunrise, or walk to the top. The rest of the tour was ok. the nicest parts, the fisherman's village and the Fairy stream, quite relaxing. I don't if all receptionist were like this one, but she was the only one who attended me every time and that's the impression I got from the hostel and the staff there. Finally, they advertised transportation to Ho Chi Minh airport, but the bus only dropped us in the city centre and we had to make our way to the airport

Hi,
Thank you for taking your time to write a review. When the receptionist offered you a tour to the sand dunes she pointed out an information sheet located right on the counter. there is lots of information about the tour sitting on the counter in reception, It clearly states that the jeep drivers are just that, not tour guides. We also sell bus tickets at reception to Saigon not the airport .... once again there is a very large board in reception that has the destinations clearly stated, it does not mention the airport. Our exchange rates are gathered everyday from the gold shop in Mui Ne which is also the money exchange. Finally I was away from the hostel when you stayed for which I apologise, next time I'll ensure that I'm there for you.
Regards,
John

Hi,

We stayed in Mui Ne for 2 night, a hostel for very young travellers.

Disadvantages:
Loud music but they are strict at turning it off at 12am, you cannot hear so much in your dorm.

Too many rules, no outside food allowed

Shower Good, stands are broken.

Advantages:
Very clean
Friendly staff
Good atmosphere

Would go back!
