The short version is, unless you are totally restricted by price, there are probably better options nearby.
If you are still interested - read on.
The hotel is proper, old-school ex-soviet style. Rooms are basic, clean, but absolutely no frills. They do have ensuite bathrooms, but toilet is separate from the bath/sink. TV is a tiny 14" CRT box. And that's about all you get. A handful of smallish towels and a bar of soap.
Food is adequate. A good appetite after a days skiing helps :) There was nothing I couldn't eat, but neither was there anything I'd go up for seconds for. Staff are friendly and amenable (so some things have changed from Soviet times :) ). Good wifi in communal areas, none in the rooms.
Quirky negatives are threadbare carpets with bleach stains scattered about, and clunky old lifts that look like they have been painted in Hammerite 'One Coat'.
Positives are; it is just about a ski-in ski-out hotel. You will need good snow cover, and it involves a bit of pushing/walking, but it is possible. The bar is cheap - 2 beers and 2 soft drinks come in at 4 Euros 80. And there is a very good, proper soviet era wellness centre.
To sum up, if you have a hankering to experience the "Deutschland 83" thing, and dont mind no frills, go for it. Otherwise there are probably better nearby (but many of these are also with one foot in the past - think hotels Ski, Liptov and SNP)
