Not a real 4* hotel

We got as a gift voucher to this hotel and spent 3 nights in this hotel first weekend in October. First of all if you are not going to ski, hotel is far away from cultural life. Receptionists trying to be nice but they are not very good actress. But first real surprise comming on room. In normal double room there is sideboard but withhout any equipment - no kettle, no complimentary tea or coffee, no cup or some pot. Only effect is such that you feel like you are sleeping in the kitchen. We also had a bad view on road and trashs. All entrance doors to the rooms have a terrible bang. And you can hear it inside. And you can hear your neighbors from both sides also. For two people there was just one small shower gel and hasn't changed during a whole 4 days. But rooms were cleaned every day.
You have a bathrobes and towels for spa on room but if you dont have your own slippers, have to buy it on reception for 1 Euro.
Whole hotel and restaurat is new and modern but I could smell mustiness inside of whirpoole and spa.
When you come to breakfast arout 9.30 (breakfast is until 10) there is not have a lot to choose. When you ask of course they will bring you what you ask for. And don't forget, diner is only to 9.30 pm in whole valley.
The only service that we appreciated was the hotel restaurant staff.
Maybe it's a good hotel for skiers (next to ski lift) but not when you are going out of ski season and certainly its services can't be compared with other 4 * hotels in which I have been.

Room tip: ask for higher floors and bring your own earplugs, slippers (or buy it on reception for 1Euro) and don't count with complimentary tea or coffee and ask for kettle on reception.

Dear guest,
We are very sorry that your weekend spent at Hotel FIS Jasna didn´t meet your expectations. However we would like to point out that the kitchenettes in the rooms and appartments are highly appreciated by the guests travelling with children. When reception is informed in advance we are preparing a kettle and othe requested equipment. It is not used to every day cooking. Our restaurant is opened daily from 7:30 untill midnight so there is no problem to order tea or cofffee and as well room service.
All our Deluxe rooms are situated on the side facing the wood, if you wanted to have a view to the slopes you should book One Bedroom Apartment. As we are in the altitude 1220 m above sea level, the highest situted hotel in Jasna, the road ending at our hotel is not used by the cars only for the service to the lifts and the hotel is in very quiet area.
The information about the restaurant you have mentioned is not correct, the last meal order is at 9:30pm, the kitchen is open untill 10pm and the restaurant untill midnight.
Breakfasts are served from 7:30 till 10:00, so for the late guests we are serving a la carte breakfast which is more luxury then the buffet breakfast.

Excellent hotel, superb cuisine, very friendly and helpful staff.

This is amazing hotel, would certainly recommend to anyone seeking quality, fabulous nature and relaxation. What is exceptional is delicious cuisine and friendly staff.
What could be improved is missing WiFi in the room.

A real ski-slope hotel!

The ski-lift is situated a few metres from the back door of the hotel, so the location is superb.
The service is excellent, except the fact that the wellness centre is open only from 3 p.m. What about those who want to have a swim before breakfast?

Room tip: Rooms not facing the ski-lifts are quieter. There is only one lift, for which you usually have to wait for a long time, so it's a good idea to ask for a room not higher than on the 1st or 2nd floor, because you will often have to use the stairs...

Perfect hotel for a ski vacation!

Our family of two adults and two kids 6 and 8 years spent one week in this great hotel. We had a package including breakfast and dinner as well as ski passes for 6 days in an apartment room with separate bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. We had an all in price that I really consider great value for money!

Everything was very smooth and effective. We received our ski passes when we checked in and decided what to eat for dinner every morning. The hotel is fairly small and even though it was fully booked when we were there I cannot say it was crowded.

The hotel is very elegant and maybe a bit to designed for my taste when skiing I prefer a bit more rustic environment.

After being in Jasna for a week I’m convinced that this hotel has the best location of all accommodations in this ski resort. The slope is literally outside the door and you can choose to go down the easy slope for a try run or you can take a lift up towards the top of the mountain. There is also a small shop in the hotel where you can rent ski equipment.
The after ski bar in the hotel is ok but a bit too loud music price wise however it is very good value for money.

The pool in the hotel is good for kids and for a beer in the sauna after a day in the slopes.
I can recommend rooms with windows towards the slope for example 107 or 108. There is a refrigerator and dining table in the apartment rooms. Remember to bring drinks and snacks etc. to the hotel. There is no grocery store within walking distance and it is very troublesome to use the car once at the hotel.

Room tip: rooms 107 and 108. Bring you own drinks and snacks to the hotel. Grocery store is not within walking distance and driving a car in the area is a bit tricky!

simply the best!

I've stayed here twice now and it's by far the best hotel in Jasna. You can't beat the location, the food is great (best breakfast I've eaten anywhere) and the rooms are stylish and impeccably clean. But the best thing about this place is the staff - they're polite, friendly and have a great sense of humour ...I've stayed at a lot of hotel's in Slovakia and believe me, this is a rarity! Thanks in particular to Eliska, Simone and Tomas for your fine service and see you next time. Na zdravie!
