The folk village is well worth a visit,it has a mixture of very old original building's and some newly purpose built, you get a real feel of what it must of been like living in a very old remote village in north west Ireland during different decade's,you can go into all of the building's which house many old original artifact's,the café there serves great hot and cold food and beverage's.

“Beautiful ”

Have to admit myself and my girlfriend didn't walk round the little village but we seen it from outside and went into the little tourist shop. What we went for was to see the map of Ireland on the wall must be at least 12ft high

“History Before Your Eyes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 September 2016 via mobile

So very enjoyable to see different periods of history right in front of you. The artifacts are all real as you could see by touching them--but don't you dare. They are much to rare, delicate and authentic. We enjoyed each different cabin, marking the various time periods from the
1700s to the 1960s. What truly hard lives these people lived. Well worth the time and price of admission.

“Enjoyable visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 September 2016

Was heading to Killybegs area and was told about here, so decided to visit. Well worth it, looking in and out of the thatched cottages set about how they used to be. Cost 5euros to get in. Definetely an enjoyable visit.
Set in lovely scenery as well. :)

“Lots to read”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 September 2016 via mobile

We were in a rush so did not take the time to read and watch everything. Inexpensive but not for kids. They will get bored. Should only take about an hour to see everything as it is quite small.
