“Delightful gite and location.”
Reviewed 27 August 2018 for a stay in August 2018

Great location and for visiting other parts of Normandy, merely 1 1/2hrs to Honfleur, Normandy Beaches or Monet's Garden. There are many interesting Chateau within short distances. Unfortunately the nearby lake was closed because of algae in the water, however it wasn't too difficult to find alternative entertainment for the children. Le Bec Hellouin is such a pretty village with a bar and a Salon de The all within a few minutes walk from the gite. The well provided gite accommodated our party of seven easily. Would mention there are steps up to the front door which were a little bit of a challenge for me and would prove difficult to get a wheelchair to the top. The gite was lovely and very comfortable.

“Just beautiful”
Reviewed 11 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We went here for our summer holiday. There was myself my other half and two kids in a place that could sleep 10 people. Needless to say we only used half of the house but it was great for playing hide and seek. If you enjoy a quiet holiday then this is the place for you. There are lots of places to walk and the food in the village is amazing.
And there is no TV which was an added bonus and the owners have provided plenty of games to play on the evening. If you like geocaching there are hundreds within a few miles radius.
The house is ideally suited for people who like to explore the surrounding area, with lots of picturesque villages and towns in the immediate vicinity.
A really enjoyable location.

“Excellent holiday home. Lovely area of France.”
Reviewed 3 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Our family consisted of young man in his twenties. Middle aged couple and elderly gentleman, plus the deaf dog. This holiday suited as all, we were in the middle of a beautiful village and a few kilometres away from a vibrant town with shops and a market. We visited DDay beaches and the famous Peagsus Bridge. We had piece and quite plus being busy with tourist attractions. There was no TV at the home, at first we thought we would miss this but we didn't we played cards and board games sipping a glass of wine. Would recommend this holiday home and looking forward to returning.

“Wonderful holiday enjoyed by us all !”
Reviewed 18 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We so enjoyed our stay in this Gite in Le Bec Hellouin. The property is spacious and the owners have equipped it very well - even down to plasters for those little injuries.

This village is very picturesque and the Gite is less than 10 minutes walk from its centre. We enjoyed meals in two of the restaurants - Restaurant De La Tour and
La Crepe Dans Le Bec - both great food and ambiance.

The Abbey of Bec Hellouin, founded in 1034, is found in the centre of the village and is definitely worth a visit - very peaceful.

We have already recommended this Gite to friends who holiday in France and will continue to sing its praises!

Thank you for thinking of every little detail - we so enjoyed our evenings sitting by the log fire, not to mention the odd glass of wine sitting out on the balcony taking in the beautiful views of the valley.

When visiting this area we shall definitely be getting in touch to book again.
