Went for a diving trip and stayed at Villa Renaissance with 4 friends. The place was very nice and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and grocery store. Service was excellent and everyone was very accommodating. Great central location on Grace Bay which made it easy to get everywhere. Also, the bikes they had were always available which made it easy to tour the rest of the island and make trips to the grocery store.

We have visited Providenciales over ten times and love it. We believe that the beach and water are unparalleled and they certainly contribute to our repeat visits. But sometimes, if you are lucky, you find a place in the world where the people make you feel so comfortable, so happy, so well taken care of, that your vacation takes on new meaning. This is what has happened for us with Villa Renaissance. We discovered it the year before it opened and have never stayed anywhere else since then. Shereen was there behind the desk the day we arrived 9 years ago and we look forward to seeing her big beautiful smile every year we come back. She and Celo (Gorgeous) and India run an efficient, professional concierge desk and our arrangements are always handled quickly and professionally(and they get you a great price on things like rental cars, cab rides and excursions). They are always smiling and helpful, even when guests are pounding them with multiple questions. They have patience like I have never seen! Ask how to get to Sapodilla Bay and they will get out the map and show you every turn. Over time we have requested all sorts of things from the people at the resort, and every time we have been met with a smile and action. Junior, the operations manager and Kanzy the assistant manager, have helped us numerous times with birthday events, always making it feel like home and the manager's cocktail parties are always fun, especially the sunset cruises they treat the hotel guests to. Bentley at the bar and Yves serve up everything from made-to-order frozen drinks to smoothies for the kids, never flustered by trekking up and down to and from the beach with food and drink orders. The guys who set up the beach and pool are so kind - Allain, Edner and Ernest have been there for years and remember our kids and crack open coconuts for them and help repair broken sand toys. So while everyone should go to Provo for the sand, the sun, the water, you should really try to experience it among the comforts of Villa Renaissance, where the people will make you feel right at home and totally on vacation.

My wife and I had a great time at Villa Renaissance. We had an ocean front room. The hotel staff were very friendly and made us feel like were on vacation, which we were. They took care of us. The hotel location was great. It had a beach walkup. It was located by a peaceful beach yet not so far away from other hotels/restaurant. Concierge was very helpful telling us about the popular place to go to as well as the local places to experience the Turks culture. We are considering coming by next year and if not next year, the year after next.

Villa Renaissance is a small, discrete and elegant beachfront resort, close to all the amenities of Grace Bay, and within walking distance of most restaurants, shops, grocery stores, water sports/expedition shops. We completely enjoyed walking to and from several restaurants on the beach, day and night. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly and were eager to help us with every request. The rates at this hotel are reasonable when compared to comparable resorts. The complimentary golf offered by the resort was another feature we loved. The Provo golf couse is second to none in the Carribean. Our suite was large, comfortable, well maintained and had a beautiful, large beachfront balcony where we sat for many hours.

Thanks to Shereen, Gorgeous, Indi and Bentley who took great care of us. See you next year!

Our top picks for restaurants were Hemingways for lunch and Seven and Coco Bistro for dinner.

We had very high expectations after reading all the glowing reports, but they were spot on. We booked our garden view 1 bedroom suite through VRBO, and the service, from initial contact through the duration of our stay was exceptional. Nicola and Julie Ann were fabulous about getting back to me quickly with thorough responses, and Mel cheerfully and efficiently took care of all our needs while at the resort.
The resort itself is gorgeous -beautiful grounds and pool, meticulously cared for. The building is tasteful and actually much prettier than neighbouring Regent and Seven Stars. The beach in front of the Renaissance is lovely and feels more private/quiet than the area approaching Beaches Resort and on toward Coral Gardens. It's also in a great location if you don't have a car. We walked to a different restuarant every night-never more than 15 minutes away. All the staff at the hotel (front desk, Bentley at the bar, the beach and maintenance guys) were all really friendly and helpful.
Our suite was large, well appointed, spotlessly clean and really comfortable. It was nice having lots of ceiling fans as we're not big air con fans. The verandah overlooking the pretty garden was a great spot for breakfasts and evening drinks. Our unit was very quiet, we never heard anyone (though the resort did not look full). The only very minor suggestion for improvement I have is to add some blinds to the windows. The sheers are attractive, and privacy is not an issue, I just like it to be darker at night.
I totally recommend the Villa Renaissance to anyone looking for a peaceful beach holiday in a really classy setting with one of the best beaches in the world at your front door. It may not be your place if your looking for lots of on-site activities (though these can be arranged) or have young, active kids. This is definitely an upscale place (though not pretentious), just beautifully mellow and we loved it!
