“Excellent connectivity”
Review of Buddha Air

Reviewed 29 December 2017 via mobile

We recently fly Buddha air from simara to Kathmandu & then another to pokhra & further to Bharatpur.
The flight are good & mostly ATR with a seating of around 50 passengers. Buddha air is the most safe airline in Nepal & with high safety standards.
Recommended to fly an sector if connectivity available.

Another flight on a new cean and nice Bombardier. This flight, however, left 1.5 hours late and, therefore, it has to be down marked. Especially when a meaningless excuse is given: "late arrival of incoming flight."

A great little flight. And dirt cheap – 40 USD – on an old small little Beachcraft. I haven’t flown on one of these in 20 years. It was a short 20 minute hop – up and then down. You cant really say much about this kind of flight except that it is fun to fly on a small plane. This is how flying should be.

A nice ontime efficient service from KTM to PKR on a nice and new Bombadier aircraft. Nothing special, but dirt cheap and did the job on time in comfort.

NOTE: We did NOT fly into Lukla airport! I had to put a destination or the review would not be accepted. We flew from Kathmandu to Kathmandu.

The Gate 1 Tour flight-seeing of Mount Everest cost an additional $275. They use Buddha Air. Do not expect to get "close" to Mount Everest. You will see the top of Everest if the weather is good but you will be at a good distance. The windows of the Buddha Air plane were significantly scratched and tiny so picture taking was limited. Very limited.
Time was promised in the cockpit to take pictures....this amounted to about 45 seconds with a flight attendant standing in the best spot for picture taking. If you were not one of the lucky 2 people whose turn in the cockpit coincided with the viewing of Everest, you were out of luck.
