Review of Xiamen Airlines

On a first glimpse, it seems that if you are traveling with their first class, they are on par with other airlines, such as Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific, where free in-flight slippers will be distributed to you.

This is the first time I have taken this flight, so cannot comment much on it really.

Same as other mainland flights, such as Air China, only limited movie screens; so be prepared to watch a dull movie, unless you are sitting very close to the screen.

Air turbulence on the flight was very bad on the day itself so food service was disrupted totally for quite a number of times.

Other than that, the food served was of okay quality, there was banana to go with the plain bread; pork dish with rice and a small packet of snacks and fresh fruits.

The plane itself is very nice with good movies to choose from but when I went to the airport to check in, they informed me of an extra stop, in addition to the 1 layover. When I got off the plane at the extra stop, no one had any idea where to go and were told to sit in a room and wait with no information. The people at the front desk didn't help, either. Just very confusing.

We took this Xiamen Airlines flight . The food was nothing exceptional though it has improved from the first time I've taken this flight. The plane was relatively new and clean and the flight attendants were more attentive now. Leg room and seats could have been more wider as I found it a bit cramped. Flight was relatively full too so it makes you want to get off the plane as quickly as possible.

This flight was orginally suppose to depart Harbin at 635pm, announcement on delayed and after 15 mins announced that it will be delayed till 8pm. Arrived in Xiamen 1.5 hours late. The flight was smooth, but the air con was not turned up, so it is stuffy and warm.

The Check in is only open 2 hours before departure. The process was smooth and have lots of time to get to the gate. The boarding and departure was on time and the food was as usual.
Arrived in KL on time.
