The seats are very comfortable (even in economy!). Food was good (though the Hindu meal booked on the first leg of the journey wasn't so good). The service was very good.

We recently travelled to and from Orlando with Virgin Atlantic and can honestly say the crews we had were brilliant. All very friendly and kind. On both our flights there was alot of sick people and the crew dealt with the situation imaccuatly and professionally.

Both flights the crews were fab and so was the overall service, on way back we had some delays but again you couldnt fault staff on updates and how they handeled the situation. Thanks for a great flight Virgin Atlantic ✈

Both departing and returning flights were on time. Baggage check in and passport control all went well. It seemed that we had a little more room in our seats and the food was excellent. I cannot say enough good things about the staff especially on our flight home. I was coming down with a cold and because there was room I was moved to a seat where I could stretch out and sleep. I was also offered tea and water regularly. If possible I will always stick with Virgin Atlantic.

We have been travelling to Los at least twice a year for the last 10 years and after trying various airlines for the first couple settled on Virgin as our preferred carrier.
It is now time to try the other airlines again. Cabin crew seemed rushed and unable to provide the level of service we have come to expect. We had a 10 hour flight ahead of us why was it necessary to rush service and bring everything (pre dinner drink, meal, wine) within a few minutes of each other and want to remove our meal tray just 20 minutes after it was delivered, it seemed the cabin crew were trying to get everything they needed to do over as quickly as possible then disappear till it was time to serve breakfast.
The meal was ok but breakfast was bad, a bowl of chopped melon with 4 grapes, a pot of cheap yogurt and a chocolate croissant all served at a very low temperature, the croissant may have been edible had it been warm or at least at room temperature but served from a cold chiller was not, and in whose world is serving tea with cream instead of milk acceptable.
We pay the extra to fly premium for the small extras that make spending 11 hours on a plane less uncomfortable but Virgin seem to
now be cutting corners where it shows. If they are trying to reduce costs why do they feel it necessary to give me a bag containing disposable socks, a toothbrush that falls apart, half a teaspoon of toothpaste and eyeshades that have become smaller, are uncomfortable and cut off the circulation, all this achieves is more waste to landfill.
All major airlines provide the same level of safety and security, its the small things on board that make the difference and we will, in future, be trying the others again.

Our third long haul flight within 3 weeks on Virgin and again the check in was good and the staff helpful. Food in economy not so good but edible. I did request a special meal but this was not forthcoming. However we have flown with this airline since this particular flight so they very good and will fly with them again.
