Compared to the other airlines, Southwest has the friendliest most accomodating staff of all. They have adopted Lean Principles to minimize the wait times to talk to an agent, board the plane and get your luggage as quickly as possible. Any time I need to make a change or have a problem they accommodate me better than any of the other guys, most often with no fees attached. I fly 3 times a month on average and I use Southwest first.

Went on a weeks vacation and Southwest once again proved they are the best.Both flights were top notch.Easy checkin friendly staffers and both were on time.Already booked Southwest again for a trip to Phoenix in March

Southwest always treats you with great respect and nearly always on time with the flights. So love the easy check-in process and the free baggage.

While I didn't confirm our flight as early as I would have liked to get a better boarding number, we were able to find 2 seats together on or way to LAX, plus there were a number of empty seats which helped. Comfortable flight and friendly staff. They take beverage orders and then come around with a basket of snacks from which you can take several. It does take awhile before you actually get your drink, but they do also come around and ask if you want any water or more of your chosen beverage.

You need to use your own devise to watch movies or other offerings as they don't have screens on the plane. So be sure to bring your own devise and earplugs if you want to do this. (I forgot to bring earplugs so even though I had a smartphone and could have connected to watch Southwest's offerings I really couldn't do this.)

Our return flight was also fine - more passengers this time and as a result we didn't get seats next to one another. But I do appreciate the process they use for boarding people, it just seems to be much faster way to get people on board and seated.

Great straight through flight with Southwest from MCI to SAN. Flight attendants were nice and attentive. Even the economy seating wasn't to terribly bad. Would have been nice to have free WI FI or some entertainment for a flight that long. Also SAN airport not as friendly at the luggage area.
